Athletics Registration

Registration Instructions

Fall sports registration will open on Monday, July 15th at 9am and will close on Tuesday, September 3rd at 9am. Fall sports include field hockey, boys and girls cross country and boys and girls soccer. 

Registrations for participation in the Athletics Program at Timothy Edwards Middle School are processed online through your PowerSchool parent portal account.  Follow the steps below to begin the registration process: 

Step 1
Sign into your PowerSchool (Parent Portal) account 

  •  If you have more than one child in the school system, select the appropriate child at the top
  • Click on "Forms" in the left hand column

  • Select the "TEMS [Fall/Winter/Spring] Athletic Registration" link; complete the form and submit

Step 2
Complete the 2024-2025 Physician's Statement Form

  • Required only once per academic year

  •  Must be dated after June 1, 2024

  • The physician statement form must be turned into the main office by the registration deadline above.  Athletes cannot tryout without the current physician statement on file at TEMS

Step 3
Sports Participation Fee

The Sports Participation Fee is to be submitted once it is confirmed that your child has made an athletic team's roster. Please DO NOT submit payment prior to tryouts.

After teams are selected, you will be required to submit payment by either
using MY School Bucks* or drop off/mail a check made payable to Timothy Edwards Middle School (*Note there is a small processing fee when using My School Bucks) 

  • Sports participation fee is $100 per sport
  • $400 family cap for TEMS students only
  • $500 family cap for TEMS and SWHS students combined
  • Checks made payable to Timothy Edwards Middle School; please forward check to TEMS; 100 Arnold Way South Windsor, CT 06074

  •  Please remember to include the student-athlete's full name and sport on the memo line of your check  

The funds collected from the participation fees will be used to defray expenses for operating the athletics program. Student-athletes in need of financial assistance may apply for a waiver of fees by contacting the Athletic Coordinator's office.
