  • Attention: All 6th grade peer mediators... Our first meeting will be held this Wednesday at lunch in Rm. 211. See you then!

  • Attention all students interested in being part of the cast or crew of this year's Entertainers production of Aladdin - there will be an informational meeting after school on Monday, November 4th in the auditorium.  Come with your backpacks and be prepared to stay until the 4:05 late buses.  Look forward to seeing you on November 4th!

  • Attention all 8th graders! Are you ready for some football!  The annual 8th grade Cougar Bowl is right around the corner.  If you are interested in fielding a team, please pick up a roster and a permission slip packet from the boys or girls locker rooms.  7-10 players are allowed per team and teams can be all boys, all girls, or co-ed.  All forms which must be signed by a parent or guardian, are due back to Mr. Chandler by November 1st.  The dates for football are November 4th, 6th, 7th, and 11th. If you have any additional questions, please see Mr. Chandler.
  • Congratulations to the boys cross country team on their victory at the league championship meet on Monday afternoon.  Aidan Walsh led the Cougars with a 3rd place finish, followed closely by Colin Grip in 4th, Max Plunske in 5th and Carlo Papa in 6th, each receiving medals for their top 10 finishes.  Sean Habeeb ran a strong race coming back from injury to secure 11th, and Ollie Durbois and Ethan Burke earned top 15 finishes against the best runners in the league.  Evan Czaja, Finn Jennings and Lohitaksh Parasa also helped the Cougars beat out the other 5 teams in the league, as TE finished with a total of 29 points, to help secure the winning trophy. The team is looking forward to a solid performance at the state meet as they close out their season this Saturday at Wickham Park.

  • Congratulations to the girls cross country team for their title as the 2019 league champs!  With a final score of 44 points, the top 10 TE runners ran against the fastest competition in the league yesterday at Charter Oak Park in Manchester and took 4 of the top 10 positions.  Among the top 10 finishers earning medals were Shennyn Giannelli in 3rd overall, Izzy Carpenter in 7th, Riley Baker in 8th, and Sofia Holovatska in 10th.  Morgan Caron held off 2 Illing runners as she had a great finish to the race.  Maddie Syme also ran well with a powerful stride up the steep hill of the course.  Taylor Lord, Molly Caron, Grace Smith, and Chiara Papa ran smart as they finished in the top 20 within seconds of one another.  The girls look forward to their final race Saturday at the Wickham Park State Championship.  Best of luck to both teams this weekend. 

  • Attention all students who have PE or Health please bring your Chromebook and study material to the main gym during your scheduled class time. 

  • Time is running out to register for the STEAM OLYMPICS. Pre-registration is required for this event which will take place this Saturday November 2nd.  Build a tower, create a parachute, unlock the code, escape by solving math problems, use your imagination with duct tape....and many more activities.  Use code 8vvq9mz to join the STEAM Olympics classroom and get a copy of the registration form or see Mr. Smith-Horn in room 358.   • Today for lunch in the Create line you can have Chicken Tacos, in the Grill line you can have Philly Cheese Steak and in the So Deli line you can also have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a good day and do your best to strive for five!
