  • Reader One: Good morning! Tired of drama with your peers or friends? Sick of hearing all of the gossiping? And what about the name-calling, spreading rumors, and/or arguments? Are you feeling left out? Or misunderstood? Experiencing troubles working in a group in class? If you are experiencing any of these problems, coming to Peer Mediation can help! Here’s what you need to do: Fill out a Peer Mediation Request form. Forms are located in most of the team areas, hallways, the main office, or counseling office. They are bright green so you can’t miss them! Deliver the completed form to Mrs. Zalaski in Rm. 211 OR to the main office and it will be placed in her mailbox. Once the form has been turned in, you and the others involved in the issue will receive a pass to come to Peer Mediation during lunch to work things out. Two trained mediators will help you through the process in a calm fashion and guide you to an agreed upon resolution to your conflict. These mediations are completely confidential so you will feel safe. A follow-up meeting will take place about a week after the mediation to insure the agreement is working and all parties are feeling good about the outcome.

  • The boys cross country team completed their excellent season on Saturday morning by taking home the trophy for 5th place team in the state in the large school division.   Colin Grip ran a great race to finish 38th place in the state out of over 1000 runners competing in all boys races. Àidan Walsh, Carlo Papa, Max Plunske, Ollie Durbois, Ethan Burke and Sean Habeeb all qualified to run in the championship race and ran tough races over the sloppy 2.3 mile course to help the team to its best finish in years. Finn Jennings had quite a race to finish in 10th in the B race, with Evan Czaja, Blake Wool and Junior Heredia also receiving medals for top 50 finishes. Congratulations to the team for a great season!

  • November is here and it is now time for many of the male Timothy Edwards staff members to start growing beards, mustaches and other fun facial hair artistry!  The idea behind "No Shave November...formerly known as Movember" is to start the conversation about fighting different types of cancers and raising some money to help people who are fighting these terrible diseases.  To make this fun, students get to purchase tickets which will act as votes for your favorite participating male TE staff members.  Every ticket you purchase will go into a drawing in which we will be giving away custom painted hydro-flasks!  Who will be this year's "No Shave November" championship team??? Which staff member will be the overall grand champion???  Who will win the hydro-flasks??? YOU THE STUDENTS OF TIMOTHY EDWARDS MIDDLE SCHOOL WILL DECIDE!

This included Morgan Caron, Sophia Gordon, Grace Smith, Caroline Cavanaugh, and Chiara Papa who finished in 8th of 296 B racers. Shennyn Giannelli placed 44th of 377 A racers which included the top 7 runners from schools all over the state, also earning a top 50 medal.  Riley Baker wasn't intimidated by the intense A race competition as she beat her time from last year by over a minute and moved up 70 places. Rachael Richard showed no mercy on Wickham Park's muddy hills as she powered through the finish of her final middle school race. Great job to all runners and to all that came to support TE. Congratulations on an awesome season to both teams!

  • The lady Cougars took the field yesterday afternoon for the CRAL semi-final match and took away a 1-0 victory over JFK. Goalkeeper Haley Butler played exceptional between the pipes with a handful of amazing saves that kept the Cougars alive moving into the second half. As they have been all season, the Cougar back line was consistent and played smart defense stopping many crosses and attempts on goal. Moving into the second half, it was the midfield that began to shine. Isabelle Beaulieu, Sam Grodovich, and Emerson Iacovelli stood apart from the JFK defense and as the trio countlessly drove passes into the offensive half.

  • Today for lunch in the Create line you can have Cheese Stuffed Breadsticks, in the Grill line you can have Philly Cheese Steak and in the So Deli line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches.  Have a good day and remember to Strive for Five!
