  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Friday, January 26.
  • A reminder that the Rock Paper Scissor battle has now come to an end and team winners should report to their homeroom teachers for tallying. Teams will need to submit the names of their winners using the Google Doc shared yesterday. Please record these results prior to students leaving homeroom this morning. Student Government looks forward to the winners facing off next week on the news!
  • Last night the Lady Cougars traveled to Sage Park in Windsor to take on the Lady Chargers. Going without one of their top players due to illness, TE found it hard  to tame the Lady Chargers and fell 39-24. Madison Carpenter and Maria Puniello led TE with 9 points each. Unable to break the relentless half court pressure, TE struggled to get the ball in the basket without their floor general. Next week, the Lady Cougars are back at home for two games, against Suffield and JFK respectively. Good luck ladies.
  • Get ready for some competitive fun, Cougars! Friday, February 9th, CougarTHON is hosting a TEMS Volleyball Tournament! Teams of 7 to 10 players are invited to sign up for this amazing night of volleyball, face painting, enter-to-win opportunities, and more! To get a sign up packet, go to Mrs. Klosowski’s classroom, 232, in the Emerald hallway or go on the TEMS website and print your own! Sign up packets and registration fees are due on Friday, February 2nd.
  • The Teen Center is hosting students from the middle school on Tuesdays and Fridays from 3 - 5:30 pm. Transportation from TE is even available on Tuesdays. Also, they are forming a Youth Council and are looking for interested students to attend an informational meeting on Feb 1st at 4pm at the Teen Center.
