  • It's that time of year again.  It's time to start writing! Yes, that's right.  The UConn Writing Project is back. What is the UConn Writing Project?  Simply put: It's a statewide writing competition hosted by UConn.  In the last two years, TE has had over 80 students get recognized for their writing or art. If you like writing flash fiction, poetry, short stories, nonfiction writing, argumentative essays, painting, drawing, or other forms of creative writing, join the UConn Writing Project. How do I join?  Glad you asked.  Go to the TEMS homepage and click on UConn Writing Project.  Complete the Google Form.  You're In! Don't wait!  Spots aren't limited, but registration will close at the end of the month. If you have any questions, see Mr. Millard in room 342 or Mr. Stinchon in room 262.
  • The informational meeting last week was well attended with over 70 students interested in joining the Science Olympiad! There is no meeting this week. If you are interested in joining the 15 member science Olympiad team for competition in March, complete at least 2 of the Formatives in the Science Olympiad Google Classroom by this Friday, October 13th. You can join the Google Classroom with the class code cm7op6l. Details about invitations to join the team will be announced the following week.
