  • The TE baseball team travelled to East Hartford to take on the Falcons on Thursday afternoon.  The bats came alive as TE pounded out 12 hits en route to a 6 to 4 victory.  With no score in the top of the second, Bennett Durbois came up with the bases loaded and ripped a single to score two runs.  With the score tied in the 5th inning, speedy Nick Gombotz came to the plate and crushed a double in the gap to score Durbois who was on second base.   In the 7th inning, TE scored two insurance runs after Nico Calderon  executed a perfect sacrifice bunt.  Leading the offense was Wyatt Prather with a triple and two singles and Ben Tetreault with 3 singles.  Gombotz had a single and a double in the victory.  Tetrealut came on in relief and picked up the win on the mound.  TE plays today at home vs. East Hartford.
