  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Friday,  September 23rd.

  • TE will be participating in “Starts with Hello” activities next week. This program is part of Sandy Hook Promise and the goal is to help students feel connected to each other and school. An easy way to make people feel welcome and included is to simply say hello! It’s a very simple thing to do that makes everyone feel good. All staff and students will wear name tags on Wednesday next week to encourage greeting people by name. We will also ask everyone to wear GREEN on Wednesday. That is the color of Sandy Hook Promise and represents kindness and acceptance.

  •  And now for joke of the week. Q: What happened when the wheel was invented? A: It caused a revolution!

  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Thursday, September 23rd and it's The International Day of Sign Language. 
  • Saga Announcement - Today is the first meeting of SAGA. If you plan on attending, please be sure to sign up for a late bus through the link in your homeroom teachers classroom. Cant wait to see everyone.
  • The TEMS girls soccer team defeated against Ellington 2-1 on Tuesday afternoon home at Cougar stadium. Outstanding defensive performances from Arianna Flores and Evelyn Castro kept the Cougar's ahead. Hannah Kowalchick secured the Cougar victory with 9 saves on the day. Assists on the day came from Amanda Marques and Sierra Ferrabello with the goals coming from Maeve Verzella and Lilly Jaworski. 
  • Hispanic Heritage Month - Lin Manuel Miranda
  • Attention: GRADE 6 STUDENTS: Registration is open to all sixth graders for the Fall Session of the Stock Market Game. Join the Google Classroom using CODE: h5chhuh to learn more about this Wednesday after school activity. First class is Wednesday October 6th! Sign up today!
  • All TEMS students are invited to join this year's TEMS Debate Club. Join the Google Classroom using CODE: amxgizm  to learn more about this activity. Participants will create teams of three to debate against other middle school students from around Connecticut in Saturday Scrimmages and Debate Tournaments!
