TE Morning News - March 8, 2019 
  • Where does a one legged man go out to breakfest?  IHOP! 

  • If you happen to see Aarush, Rishabh, Shristhi, Arnav, Sai, or Yunfei today, wish them luck as they will compete in the State MathCounts competition at the University of Hartford tomorrow.  TE will be defending last years State Championship title.  Wishing them a great day of math.

  • TEMS Entertainers will be presenting 4 performances of the Disney musical NEWSIES, Thursday, March 14 through Saturday March 16.  Tickets are $10 and on sale in the main lobby before school and in the main office during school hours. See the TEMS homepage for  more information.

  • If you are interested in ice skating at South Windsor Arena with the Outdoor Ed. Club, see Mr. Wilkinson, Ms. Nelson, or stop by the main office for a form.  Beginners are welcome, and there are only a few spots left, so sign up today!  Forms are due Wednesday, March 27th.  

  • Thank you to all the students and staff who voted in Round 1 of the March Madness Book Bracket. You can now cast your vote for Round 2 today through next Thursday, March 14th. Don’t get left out on the sidelines; make sure you have your say in this year’s March Madness Book winner!
  • Attention baseball players: Tryouts will begin on March 18th for 6th and 7th graders and March 25th for 8th graders.  Please check the TE Athletic web page for more information.

  • Attention softball players: Tryouts will begin on March 28th for all grades.  Please check the TE Athletic web page for more information.
  • Attention Peer Mediators: There will be NO lunch in peer mediation today, Monday, and Tuesday. Please report to the cafe for lunch on those days. Our meeting date will be Wednesday, March 13th.

  • Out of the Blue will meet after school on Monday March 11 in room 312.  Club members, please bring at least one submission. Be sure to see Ms. Olsen if you cannot attend.  To all students, time is running out to get in submissions.  Be sure to work on and submit your poems, short stories, photos, drawings, etc.

  • Today for lunch... In the Create line you can have Scrambled Eggs, in the Grill line you can have Crispy Fish Sandwich and in the So Deli line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches Do your best today and as always, strive for five!
