  • The Walk-A-Thon is making great progress!  We have already raised over $5300!  Did you know that the team that raises the most money during the Walk-a-thon earns a team pizza party? Right now the Lime team is in the lead but many teams are close behind.  Keep up the great work! Congratulations to all of our raffle winners!  You can pick up your prizes in the office during lunch.  Our next drawing will be this Thursday morning for three $20 Barnes and Noble gift cards and will include all students that have raised at least $20 or more in donations.  Not registered yet? Be sure to register at thegetmovincrew.com for your chance to win and to support our school!
  • The Boys Cross Country team welcomed East Hartford to town for a meet on Monday afternoon and, though the competition was strong, the Cougars pulled out the victory.  Colin Heslin notched another first place finish, with Ares Savvides powering through the race to finish third.  Ollie Durbois also ran a strong race, breaking into the top ten and helping TE to capture the 21 to 38 win.  Matthew LeBlanc and Travis Willcox both ran great races and each slashed over a minute and a half off their times from last meet.  The team looks to continue their strong start when they host their next meet on October 11 at Nevers Park.

  • Congratulations to the Girls Cross Country team on another victory on their home course against East Hartford yesterday.  With a final score of 16 to 47, Audrey Manning led the team to the finish with 14 other Cougars in the top 20.  Seven runners made personal records on the home course including 6th grader Nadine Abunasra, who took 36 seconds off her time, and 8th graders Ciara Turco and Amritha Suresh, who both took over a minute off their times.  The team is looking forward to their home meet next Thursday against Illing and St. James.  Run hard, Cougars!
