  • Good morning everyone, please stand for the pledge of allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Please be seated. Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Thursday, June 5.
  • Hello TE, Mrs. Longo here! As the school year wraps up and summer adventures beckon, let's make sure all our library books are back home safe and sound. If you are not sure if you have any overdue books, please log into your Destiny account or come see me in the library.  Even after you return your physical books, your reading adventures don't have to end! Remember, you have 24/7 access to our fantastic, growing virtual library of eBooks and e-audiobooks!
  • Hi TE fam!  Out of the Blue hopes that by now, you have had a chance to check out this year's amazing issue of our magazine.  If you have, please make sure to give a huge shout out to everyone who contributed, all club members, and especially our retiring editor in chief, our original lughead clunker, the one and only KG, Ms. Olsen's favorite Swiftie, Ishanvi Mohapatra.  Ms. Olsen Knew You Were Trouble when you walked in her door in seventh grade, but she Shook it Off because our magazine would be a Blank Space without all of your fabulous work.  It will be a Cruel Summer knowing you won't be in the halls of TE everyday anymore.  But we know All to Well that our magazine is Gorgeous beyond our Wildest Dreams and we love your Style.  Now you're ready for So High School.  (Sorry not Sorry).  This year's issue is the result of a lot of her hard work and it wouldn't be as awesome as it is without her.  Ms. Olsen wishes her and all the 8th grade members of Out of the Blue all the best as they move on to high school.
  • Helloooo, Cougars! TE Change Leaders has an announcement, specifically for teachers. If any teachers raised any money for Twin Day or just during the past week, please place the money in Ms. Bynoe's teacher mailbox. Once again, any money raised should be placed in Ms. Bynoe's mailbox. Thank you!
  • Attention middle schoolers! There’s space open for boys and girls ages 10 to 14 who want to play volleyball this summer. Join us July 14–18, from 9 AM to 12 PM, to learn the basics like serving, passing, digging, setting, hitting, and blocking. We’ll also have fun games to practice rotating positions and a scrimmage to bring it all together. It’s a perfect way for rising freshmen to prepare for tryouts or for anyone wanting to try something new! Interested? Have your parent or guardian visit the South Windsor Parks & Recreation website for more info and to sign up OR see Ms. Warner in room 315. Hope to see you on the court!
  • Are you a soccer player looking to improve your overall skills this summer.  If so, join Mr. Chandler for the Cougar Soccer Camp, for both boys and girls, this summer at TE.  Each day will focus on a different skill set with fun street soccer style games mixed in throughout the week.  Register on the rec department's website, but do so soon as spots are filling up fast.  Any questions, please see Mr. Chandler for more information.
