  • Good morning everyone, please stand for the pledge of allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Please be seated. Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Wednesday, June 4.
  • Attention 8th grade fall sport athletes...a reminder that your meeting with the fall coaches from South Windsor High School will take place today.  There are late buses available or plan on getting picked up at 4pm.  Please meet the head coach at 2:40pm in the following locations: Boys Soccer - room 265, Girls Soccer - small gym, Field Hockey - room 135, Boys XC - room 131, Girls XC - room 132, and Girls Volleyball - big gym. 
  • Tonight - TE is the place to be! Join your friends and classmates at the TEMS FILM FESTIVAL. Come back to TE at 6:30 to watch film after film after film - all short films between 1 minute or so and 10 minutes long. Enjoy comfortable seating in all air conditioned viewing rooms. Refreshment and raffle tickets for some fabulous prizes will also be available for purchase. Admission is FREE although there is a suggested [optional] $5.00 donation for spectators to attend. Come cheer on your favorite film makers at the Awards Ceremony.
  •  Attention middle schoolers! There’s space open for boys and girls ages 10 to 14 who want to play volleyball this summer. Join us July 14–18, from 9 AM to 12 PM, to learn the basics like serving, passing, digging, setting, hitting, and blocking. We’ll also have fun games to practice rotating positions and a scrimmage to bring it all together. It’s a perfect way for rising freshmen to prepare for tryouts or for anyone wanting to try something new! Interested? Have your parent or guardian visit the South Windsor Parks & Recreation website for more info and to sign up OR see Ms. Warner in room 315. Hope to see you on the court!
  •  Attention all Band Members, all of Mr. Marci’s lessons have been cancelled for today.  Please remain in your regular encore classes.  If you have band class today, please be sure to bring your Chromebook and headphones with you as you will have an assignment that needs to be completed. 
  •  Out of the Blue is thrilled to present our 2024-2025 edition!  We believe this is our best issue yet and thank everyone who contributed.  The link has been posted on the TE homepage and all English teachers have been asked to post it in their Google Classrooms.  Please join us in celebrating the amazing talent of TEMS!   •  Are you a soccer player looking to improve your overall skills this summer.  If so, join Mr. Chandler for the Cougar Soccer Camp, for both boys and girls, this summer at TE.  Each day will focus on a different skill set with fun street soccer style games mixed in throughout the week.  Register on the rec department's website, but do so soon as spots are filling up fast.  Any questions, please see Mr. Chandler for more information.
  •  6th Graders - JOIN in the Summer Fun spending a week at the 2025 Timothy Edwards Debate Camp. This activity is only open to current 5th and 6th graders. Get a head start learning about debate in advance of the many Middle School Debate Tournaments that TE students will compete in during the 2025-2026 school year!
