- Yesterday was “Throwback Jersey Day" at the ballpark and the TE Cougars baseball team looked sharp sporting their 2015 uniforms as they faced off against East Hartford. The Cougars' 7-1 win against the Falcons extended their undefeated record. Brody Kelly got the start and pitched a great game. He struck out eight and only allowed a single hit in earning the victory. Will Baron came in for relief and he was untouchable. He retired all nine Falcons he faced, fanning five of them. Offensively, Aiden Silvestro led the way by racking up three hits, including a double and two RBI. Ryan Browning chipped in with two singles, while Corbyn Falco added a double and an RBI. Baron and Connor Moskites each contributed a single at the plate. The win keeps the Cougars perched at the top of the CRAL standings with a perfect 8-0 record! Looking ahead, the Cougars will be back in action at home next Tuesday when they take on Tolland. Good luck Cougars!
