  • The TE Cougars baseball team continued their winning streak in dominant fashion yesterday afternoon, traveling to Ellington and overpowering the Wildcats with a resounding 17-0 victory. From the very first pitch, it was clear the Cougars were in control, jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the opening inning and never looking back.  Leading the charge was pitcher Brody Kelly, who delivered a masterful performance on the mound. Kelly was absolutely dominant, going the distance and earning his second win of the season. He baffled Wildcat hitters, striking out 8 batters while allowing only a single hit.  Offensively, the Cougars maintained relentless offensive pressure throughout the game, racking up 13 hits. Torin Edwards, Lucas Paauwe, Connor Moskites, and Ryan Browning each contributed two singles and an RBI to the offensive explosion. Landon LeRoy chipped in with a clutch double and two RBI, while Aiden Silvestro and Will Baron each added a single and drove in two runs.  The victory improves the TE Cougars' record to 4-0 on the season. The team's strong pitching, potent offense, and solid defense have led to the early season success.  The Cougars are back in action today at home as they face off against Tolland. Come on out and show your support for the team as they look to continue their winning streak!
  •  The softball team kicked off their season with an awesome 25-1 win against Tolland Middle School yesterday! Pitchers, Josie Tomkunas and Emma Rutkauskas, were on fire. Josie struck out 6 out of the 7 batters she faced, and Emma struck out 7 of the 13 batters she faced. The team had a blast hitting! Claire Kaminski hit a grand slam and got a few more hits. Lila Sheridan, Josie Tomkunas, Reagan Burnham, Arianna Coco, Meghan Donovan, Katelyn Bousquet, Isis Hollister, and Teresa Gudauskas all helped out too, with triples, doubles, and singles! Great job, ladies! TE is heading to Suffield Middle School tomorrow. Good luck!
