  • Get Ready, Cougars, because TE Change Leaders is hosting an amazing Pajama Dance Party! The dance is on March 21st from 6 to 8PM. There's going to be savory snacks, sweet candy, henna + face painting a movie playing in the library, and spectacular slumber vibes!!!! And guess what.....it gets even better! We are selling VIP tickets again this year! VIPs get an area all to themselves, a goodie bag, and a free snack! General tickets cost 10 dollars, and VIP tickets cost 15 dollars. All proceeds are going to cerebral palsy. So put on those pajamas, 'cause we're looking forward to the best pajama dance party in history!
  • A big thank you to the over 300 students and staff who voted in round 2 of 2025 March Madness Book Brackets! Please continue to cast your vote in round 3 by clicking on the March Madness Book Bracket link off of the LMC page and then on the Round 3 voting link.  Voting for round three ends on Thursday, March 20th.You don’t have to have read the books; just vote for the title whose summary sounds the most interesting.  If you are interested in any of the titles, come to the library to check out the print copy or go to Destiny Discover to check out the eBook or e-audio. Don’t get left out on the sidelines; make sure you have your say in this year’s March Madness book winner!
  • Are you interested in showing off your culture to other students? Are you interested in learning about other cultures? Come to International Night on April 10 from 6-8 and enjoy performances, food and crafts from around the world! RSVP with your family on the TEMS website to secure your tickets to this popular event! If your family would like to have a booth to showcase your culture at the event, you can also sign up for that on the RSVP Google Form!
  • Attention Spring Athletes, your Physician Statement is due soon!  If you do not hand in a Physician Statement you will not be allowed to tryout.  Please check with Mrs. Stewart in the office if you have any questions. Copies are available in the office. If you are trying out for the softball team, tryouts are scheduled for April 1st and April 2nd until 4:30.  Please go to the website for more detailed information.
  • Just a reminder that there is Intramural Volleyball today, and participants will need a ride home at 4pm. 
  • Out of the Blue will meet afterschool on Monday, March 17 in room 222.
  • In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re excited to highlight inspiring women in STEM! Today we have Dr. Fei-Fei Li. She is a woman working in artificial intelligence and computer vision. She created ImageNet. It’s a huge visual database that accelerated AI and Deep learning. 
  • Are you ready to explore the exciting world of STEM like these women? Join us Today, March 14th from 6 pm to 8pm in TE for our STEM Night. This evening will be dedicated to increasing interest and confidence in STEM careers for your curious mind. You can expect engaging activities, STEM professionals like Doctors, Geologists, Environment scientists, Biologists, Software engineers and many more! 
  • Book Fair Challenge: Guess & Win! Hey TEMS students—get ready for a sweet challenge! During the Book Fair, stop by and take a guess at the Jar Guessing Game! Each grade will have a chance to win: Guess the exact number (or the closest without going over) and win a $25 Dairy Queen Gift card! Your Homeroom teacher will get to keep everything inside the jar if you win! (So, yeah… they’re counting on you!)Think you’ve got the best guessing skills? Step up, take a guess, and may the best estimator win! Winners will be announced after the Book Fair—good luck!
