  • And now for the first edition of the Viral Dance Challenge. After watching the video, head over to the TE Homepage and click on the daily news link to vote for your favorite. You may vote once each day! Results will be announced on tomorrow’s news broadcast. Link to vote
  • The SAGA meeting scheduled for today is CANCELLED. Again, SAGA will not be meeting today. Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 27th. 
  • Are you interested in showing off your culture to other students? Are you interested in learning about other cultures? Come to International Night on April 10 from 6-8 and enjoy performances, food and crafts from around the world! RSVP with your family on the TEMS website to secure your tickets to this popular event! If your family would like to have a booth to showcase your culture at the event, you can also sign up for that on the RSVP Google Form!
  • If you are trying out for the softball team, tryouts are scheduled for April 1st and April 2nd until 4:30.  Please go to the website for more detailed information.
  • In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re excited to highlight inspiring women in STEM! Today we have Dr. Lisa Su. She is the CEO of Advanced Micro Devices. She and her company have made huge strides in the semiconductor industry. Furthermore, she made significant advancements in computer processing technology.
  • Are you ready to explore the exciting world of STEM like these women? Join us on March 14th from 6 pm to 8pm in TE for our STEM Night. This evening will be dedicated to increasing interest and confidence in STEM careers for your curious mind. You can expect engaging activities, STEM professionals like Doctors, Geologists, Environment scientists, Biologists, Software engineers and many more! 
  • A big thank you to the 449 students and staff who voted in round 1 of 2025 March Madness Book Brackets! Please continue to cast your vote in round 2 by clicking on the March Madness Book Bracket link off of the LMC page and then on the Round 2 voting link.  Voting for round two will end on Thursday, March 14th at the end of the day. You don’t have to have read the books; just vote for the title whose summary sounds the most interesting.  If you are interested in any of the titles, come to the library to check out the print copy or go to Destiny Discover to check out the eBook or e-audio. Don’t get left out on the sidelines; make sure you have your say in this year’s March Madness book winner!
  • Book Fair Challenge: Guess & Win! Hey TEMS students—get ready for a sweet challenge! During the Book Fair, stop by and take a guess at the Jar Guessing Game! Each grade will have a chance to win: Guess the exact number (or the closest without going over) and win a $25 Dairy Queen Gift card! Your Homeroom teacher will get to keep everything inside the jar if you win! (So, yeah… they’re counting on you!)Think you’ve got the best guessing skills? Step up, take a guess, and may the best estimator win! Winners will be announced after the Book Fair—good luck!
