  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Monday, March 10.
  • Please be aware that Out of the Blue will NOT be meeting today.  All students should go home on their regular bus.
  • Hey hey hey, Entertainers! Congratulations on four wonderful performances- way to go!!! Also, today is party day for ALL members of cast and all crews! Make sure to RSVP in Google Classroom and arrange for a ride home at 5:00pm. Meet in the auditorium after school. See you then! 
  • Congratulations to all of the students who competed in the science Olympiad competition over the weekend. The hard work and dedication of the students who participated shined. TEMS students won medals in 8 events, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals were awarded to Timothy Edwards. Thank you to all who helped the team succeed, coaches and parents! An extra special thanks to Mr. Goric and Mr. Wilkinson for helping students with their build events.

  • In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re excited to highlight inspiring women in STEM! Today we have Dr. Jane Goodall. She is a primatologist and anthropologist who did research with chimpanzees. Those chimpanzees were really cute! She spent over 60 years studying chimpanzees in Tanzania and is an advocate for animal rights and welfare. 
  • Are you ready to explore the exciting world of STEM like these women? Join us on March 14th from 6 pm to 8pm in TE for our STEM Night. This evening will be dedicated to increasing interest and confidence in STEM careers for your curious mind. You can expect engaging activities, STEM professionals like Doctors, Geologists, Environment scientists, Biologists, Software engineers and many more! 
  • Book Fair Challenge: Guess & Win! Hey TEMS students—get ready for a sweet challenge! During the Book Fair, stop by and take a guess at the Jar Guessing Game! Each grade will have a chance to win: Guess the exact number (or the closest without going over) and win a $25 Dairy Queen Gift card! Your Homeroom teacher will get to keep everything inside the jar if you win! (So, yeah… they’re counting on you!) Think you’ve got the best guessing skills? Step up, take a guess, and may the best estimator win! Winners will be announced after the Book Fair—good luck!
