• Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Tuesday, March 4.

• Hey TEMS students! Get ready because the Book Fair is coming March 10th - March 17th! Whether you love action-packed adventures, thrilling mysteries, or graphic novels, we’ve got something for everyone. Plus mark your calendars for STEM Night on March 14th, when the book fair will be open for some extra shopping time! Start making your wish lists and get ready to stock up on some amazing reads!

• In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re excited to highlight inspiring women in STEM! Today we have Marie Curie. She was a pioneer in radioactivity research. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and remains the only person to win Nobel Prizes in two different scientific fields specifically Physics and Chemistry. 

• Are you ready to explore the exciting world of STEM like these women? Join us on March 14th from 6 pm to 8pm in TE for our STEM Night. This evening will be dedicated to increasing interest and confidence in STEM careers for your curious mind. You can expect engaging activities, STEM professionals like Doctors, Geologists, Environment scientists, Biologists, Software engineers and many more! 

• We are launching ROAR Madness again this year starting today. Teachers will be recognizing students who are showing Respect, Ownership, Acceptance and Resilience with purple tickets all month long. Students can place them in the big raffle bucket during lunch waves with their names on them. Each Friday we will announce students to choose a prize from this menu.

• Tickets for Moana Jr., presented by TE’s very own Entertainers, are now on sale! Performances are this week on March 6th, 7th, and 8th. General admission tickets are $10 and will be sold in the lobby before homeroom every day. Ticket order forms, as well as details about special pricing for seniors and young children, will be available at the table in the lobby. For more information about the show, check out the Moana Jr. posters around the school. 

• Attention spring sport athletes...registration is now open for track and field, softball and baseball.  Please visit the TE athletics page for more information.
