  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Wednesday, February 26.
  • Tickets for Moana Jr., presented by TE’s very own Entertainers, are now on sale! Performances are next week on March 6th, 7th, and 8th. General admission tickets are $10 and will be sold in the lobby before homeroom every day this week and next. Ticket order forms, as well as details about special pricing for seniors and young children, will be available at the table in the lobby. For more information about the show, check out the Moana Jr. posters around the school. Here's an interesting fact about the production: The directors of the Moana movie went on a three-week research trip to Fiji, Samoa, Tahiti, and nearby islands. Their guide emphasized that for Polynesians, the ocean is not a barrier but a bridge, connecting islands, people, and traditions. Deeply tied to nature, their way of life reflects a harmony with the sea, which serves as both a pathway and a vital part of their identity.
  • The TEMS Intramural Volleyball program starts today after school.  To register, please go to the TEMS home page.  There are limited spots available and registration will close once it is filled.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Chandler in the main gym.

  • Yesterday, TE hosted the 4th Annual Cheer Showcase, where teams from Ellington and Tolland came together to show off their incredible skills. All the teams had the chance to perform their competition routines, sideline cheers, stunt sequences, jumps, and tumbling. It was a fantastic display of talent and teamwork! TE’s cheerleading team earned the prestigious **Best Choreography** award in the routine division, a true testament to their hard work and creativity. Individual cheerleaders also earned special recognition for their impressive performances. Tatum Rhodes was named Best Jumper, Amaya Darling earned Most Energetic, Julia Yustinich took home Best Expression, Ella Allore was recognized as the Best Tumbler and Emily St. Arnauld was awarded MVP for her outstanding contributions to the team. A big congratulations to all the girls who participated in this incredible annual event! Your dedication and energy made the showcase a huge success. Keep up the amazing work!
