  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Thursday, January 23.
  • Good Morning Cougars! This is a friendly reminder that you have another opportunity to Enter 2 Win during your lunch waves today! Let's support the cerebral palsy community while winning some cool prizes. The TE Change Leaders would like to congratulate our winners from last week. Have a wonderful day and remember, KINDNESS always WINS! Let's be GREAT Cougars!
  • The Lady Cougars were back in action last night taking on the Sage Park Chargers from Windsor.  TE led the game start to finish as Olivia Dzubin scored on the opening tap, won by Elise Glunt.  Five different players scored in the first quarter, in which the Lady Cougars led 10-1.  Maddie Carpenter scored four of her seven total points in the second quarter to lead the Lady Cougars to a 19-3 half time lead.  Emmi Tushe, who led all scorers, drove baseline a number of times in the third quarter which allowed TE to extend their lead to 38-8 after three quarters.  The sensational 6th graders once again closed out the game with Emma Rutkauskas and Harper Kelly scoring four points each in the fourth quarter.  They also held the Chargers scoreless in the final frame to seal the win by the final score of 48-8.  Congrats ladies on a big win, and good luck next week when you play East Hartford at home on Tuesday.  Come out and cheer on the undefeated Lady Cougars on Tuesday afternoon.
  • The TE boys basketball team traveled to Windsor to take on Sage Park yesterday afternoon.  After tightly contested first half with the Cougars leading 18-15, the pressure defense lead to some easy baskets giving Timothy Edwards a 36-27 lead after 3 quarters.  The Cougars then held Sage park to 6 points in the 4th and won the game 53-33.  A total team effort with everyone contributing all season has the Cougars at 6-0 going into the second of the season.
