  • Animal Lover's back with this year's Bracket Tournament! We've gotten new creatures from the Protector of Animals for TE to vote on! The winner will be the recipient of the Naomi Chung Animal Award. You have the remainder of this week to vote!   • Here ye, here ye! The Entertainers informational meeting for this year's musical stage production will be next Thursday, Nov. 21 in the auditorium after school. Late buses are available. See you there!
  • Hey 6th graders! We are extending the sign up date for “Mood Boosters” until Friday, Nov. 15th! Emerald and Lime will be together from 8:05-8:45 and Evergreen and Sage will be together from 9:05-9:45 – so ask a friend from a partner team and join “Mood Boosters” with Mrs. Reed and Ms. Mills! We will spend our time learning ways to lower stress and relax using art and calming activities! To sign up, just stop by the Counseling Office by November 15th. Space is limited, so don’t wait! Join “Mood Boosters” and start the day with positive vibes.
  • Sign ups for the 7th and 8th grade 3 on 3 basketball tournament are full and therefore, registration is closed.  Thanks to those of you that signed up!
  • From November 18-22, CougarTHON will be hosting a Penny Wars fundraiser to benefit the children at Connecticut Children's Hospital. It's a great opportunity for our school community to come together and make a positive impact! Teams will compete to collect the most pennies, while also accepting dollar bills and other coins. Remember, every cent counts! The winning team will be rewarded with a movie day in the auditorium, so get ready to rally your friends and support a worthy cause. Let’s make a difference together!
  • Calling all TE writers! Do you have a story to tell, a world to create, argument to defend, or a poem to share? Every year, the Connecticut Writing Project at UConn celebrates the best young writers in our state. And this year, TE wants you to join the ranks of our over 200 past winners! TE offers dedicated writing sessions where you’ll develop your skills with the help of teachers and peers. This is a space for those who love to let their imaginations soar, to craft new worlds, defend their opinions, or to pour out emotions in verse. The club meets after school from 3 to 4 p.m. Don’t miss these dates:8th Grade Meetings - Mondays, starting on Dec 9, 6th Grade Meetings - Wednesdays starting on Dec 11, 7th Grade Meetings - Thursdays starting Dec 12.
