  • The boys track and field team had their championship meet on Thursday at Ellington.  And while the result wasn't what they wanted, they still finished 2nd in the league.  There were some great performances.  The 4 X 400 team of Alex L, Jeff Z, Adam E, and Zayd S improved their Top Ten time, with a gutsy finish by Zayd S who left nothing in the tank.  The 4 X 800 team of Jeff Z, Timmy C, Justin J, and Zayd S also improved their Top Ten time.  Luis L finished 1st in the Long Jump.  Carter G claimed 3rd place in the Discus.  Alex L placed 3rd in the 400 meter run.  Jeff Z blew the field away in the mile run, finishing first by over 10 seconds. The boys had a great season and now have a few select athletes setting their sights on States.  Good luck to everyone competing and GO COUGARS!
