  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Thursday, March 28.
  • Its ROAR Raffle time. Today we will be drawing our final winners. Winners from the Raffle should see Mrs. Richardson in the main office to redeem their prize. And now for the Raffle.
  • A reminder to members of Out of the Blue that we will meet after school on Monday.  Please make sure that you bring your submission if you have not turned it in yet.  And to all members of our TE family, all submissions are due by Monday April 15, so please submit your poems, short stories, drawings, paintings, and photos.  Thank you to everyone who has already submitted.  We especially need more poems this year and we know how talented you all are!  You can even submit something you wrote for a class.  So share it with Ms. Olsen and then you can say you are part of a nationally award winning magazine!
  • Are you interested in improving your overall fitness?  Or want to get just a little stronger or faster or maybe hang out with friends while being active.  If so, join Mr. Chandler after school for Fitness Club, starting April 17th.  The program runs every Wednesday and Thursday through May 23rd, and they are on late bus days too.  Registration is through the South Windsor Rec Department and you can start registering on April 3rd.  Don't miss out as this program fills up quickly.  Only 30 students will be able to participate.  Additional information can be found on the tables in the boys and girls locker rooms.  Any questions, please see Mr. Chandler in the main gym.
  • Would you like to share kindness at TE, or contribute to the positive mental health of students? Do you have a project in mind to support inclusion and/or respect? Can you think of an idea that would encourage a more positive school community? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then here is your chance to do something! We are thrilled to announce that the Make a Change (MAC) Grants, through S. W. Youth & Family Services, are available once again! This grant encourages STUDENTS to put their ideas into action. Proposals can come from 1 student, a group of students or a an entire classroom. More information and the link to the application is on the TEMS main page. Applications are due by APRIL 5th! If you need more information, stop by room 296 and ask Mrs. Reed.
  • The Under the Sea Activity Night was a huge success! The T.E. Change Leaders raised $1,012.00! Thank you so much to everyone who attended! We would like to shout out a few people: Mr. Lepak (for coming in clutch as our RESIDENT DJ), Ms. Warner, Dr. Ferguson, Ms. Yarde, Mr. Klein, Mrs. Irwin, Mrs. Mafe, Maheen from Sage who did our HENNA, and our amazing TE nurse and safety officer! We would also like to shout out the Entertainers for providing all the great snacks people feasted on! Without you, the Activity Night would not have been so amazing!
