  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Monday, February 6.
  • Carnations are on sale now during all lunch waves! Make sure you get them this week so your special person receives their carnation in homeroom on February 14th! Find student council members selling the flowers next to the snack line in the cafeteria. You can send flowers to not only students, but also to teachers, staff members, and family members! For only $2, you can write and send a message with a flower! If you are sending to a student make sure you know the team of the person you want to send to!

  • What an amazing day the TEMS MathCounts team had at the Chapter Competition on Saturday! Congratulations to: Girish, Ishan, Akhil, Gian, Aarav, Satvik, Karthik and Eshaan! Here are a few of their incredible accomplishments: The TEMS team of Girish, Ishan, Akhil and Gian came in first place! Girish Prasad placed first overall in the Hartford Chapter. Ishan Agarwal won the live head-to-head Countdown Round.  Girish, Ishan, Akhil and Gian will be moving on to the state level competition in March.  Please join me in congratulating these very talented mathletes! 
  • Did you know that February is Black History Month? Black History Month offers an important opportunity to honor and highlight the accomplishments of Black Americans in history and society. Today we highlight the accomplishments of Patrick Mahomes, one of two African American quarterbacks going to the Superbowl this weekend.
  • Attention all Entertainers… Starting today, all rehearsals will go until 5pm. There are NO LATE BUSES at this time. Please make sure you have a ride home scheduled for 5:00 every day! See you at rehearsal.
  • Out of the Blue will meet after school today in room 222.  Please come with a charged Chromebook, something to write with, and whatever piece you are working on.  Ms. Olsen looks forward to seeing you!
  • Attention all students interested in participating in TETV News, auditions for the Third quarter will be held next today afterschool in room 375 until 4pm. Students will read through a daily news script off a teleprompter to audition. See you there.
