  • Welcome back to our final edition of TETV News this year. Today is Monday, June 20th, and its our last day of school!
  • CONGRATULATIONS to Rachel Mathew who was named the winner of the Elizabeth Ridgway Discovery or Exploration in History Award, sponsored by the Library of Congress. Rachel received this special award on Saturday during the National History Day Awards Ceremony which was streamed LIVE. Rachel joined a few other TEMS History Day students and dozens of other Connecticut History Day participants at a 'Watch Party' at the Old State House in Hartford. Rachel received this award for her Research Paper titled "From Peru to Yale and Back Again: The Journey of Peruvian Machu Picchu Artifacts". Way to Go RACHEL!!!
  • Attention all softball players! Mrs. Giaccone, the TEMS softball coach, is hosting a softball camp this summer. If you are looking to learn more about softball or to improve your skills, you should sign up.  This camp is being held July 11th through July 14th.  More details and registration can be found on the South Windsor recreation department website.  Search “Cougar Softball Camp”.  Any questions?  See Mrs. Giaccone in the main gym.
  • Soccer players- If you are interested in increasing your skills this summer, the boys and girls  South Windsor High School soccer coaches are running camps in town to help you improve your overall game and have fun while you do it.
