  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Thursday, May 19th.
  • Good morning, this is a friendly reminder that I run overdue library book reports every Tuesday and that if you have an overdue library book, you should receive an email to your school G-mail account.  Please make sure you are checking this email account regularly to be informed of whether or not you have any overdue library books or if you have a hold ready for pick up. Currently, there are a large number of students who have books that have been overdue for three or more weeks.  Please return those books to the TE LMC as soon as possible.  If you do not see me in the library, please drop your books in the big book drop located beneath the sign in table by the main entrance.  Please see me or email me if you have any questions. Thanks for your help with this! Mrs. Longo
  • Congratulations to the softball team for their win over East Hartford Middle School yesterday.  TE outscored East Hartford 14 to 3.  This gives TE an 8 and 0 record so far. Pitcher Meghan Doherty struck out 9 batters and also batted 3 for 3, with 2 singles and one homerun.  Shortstop Olivia Doran also batted 3 for 3 and had one single and TWO homeruns.  Left fielder Amanda Donovan contributed with 2 hits and catcher Brianna LeGare added 3 hits.  TE travels to Sage Park Middle school on Monday.  Good luck!
  • Attention all band members, Mr. Marci's instrumental lessons are cancelled for today(5/19).  Please remain in your regular encore classes.
  • The TE baseball team had another road game yesterday and they once again came up victorious defeating East Hartford by a score of 5 to 4. Lucas Carlson struck out five and pitched a complete game for the Cougars. In the process, he earned his first victory of the season. On the defensive side, the Cougars had one of the best plays of the season. With one out in the 6th, an East Hartford batter hit a line drive into the gap, but speedy Evan Westfall cut the ball off in right centerfield. He threw to the cutoff man Elias Jacobs who then threw to Aiden Jackson at third for an easy tag on the runner!! Offensively, TE had a balanced hitting attack. Jackson and Brandon Gudouskas led the way with a single and RBI each. TE improves to 6 wins and 2 losses on the season. They have a home game today vs. Sage Park. Good luck Cougars!!
