  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Monday, March 21.
  • Thank you to the 294 students and staff who voted in round 3 of the 2022 March Madness Book Bracket! I’d love to see more students vote in round 4 which ends at the end of the day on Thursday, March 24thYou don’t have to read the books you are voting on; just vote for the one that sounds the more interesting; come down to the library to check one out! Don’t get left out on the sidelines; make sure you have your say in this year’s March Madness book winner!
  • The Evergreen Team is looking for donations to help with the Ukraine Crisis-specifically the displaced refugees that have had to flee their homes. These donations will go to the Ukraine Crisis through the American Red Cross. Facts: A refugee is a person who has fled their home because of war or natural disaster. According to the UN Refugee Agency, 1,735,068 million Ukraine people fled their homes and this number is growing. The Red Cross will send the money over to Ukraine to buy medical supplies, food, water etc. Each homeroom teacher will have an envelope to collect donations. Please give all monetary donations to your homeroom teacher. Contributions will be collected through Friday March 25 The American Red Cross and the people of Ukraine appreciate your generosity.   • S.W. Youth and Family Services will be sponsoring a “Healthy Living” Poster Contest for ALL students at TEMS! Do you enjoy art or are you interested in are you looking for a way to be creative? The poster contest is for you! The contest focuses on prevention of alcohol, marijuana, vaping and smoking. Everyone is encouraged to participate, but remember each student must submit their own poster. Submitting a group project is not allowed. For more information, please pick up a flyer in the Main Office. All entries must be submitted by the end of the day on April 1st. Get creative and have fun!
  • Softball tryouts are being held on March 29th, 30th and 31st until 4pm.  There are no late buses on March 29th so please make sure you have a ride home at 4pm.  More information can be found in the main gym or ask Mrs. Giaccone.
  • This is our final week of TE college trivia, so be sure to listen in each day to find out where our staff attended college and things they loved about it. You could be one of our next winners! Last week’s winners should report to guidance after the news today to choose your college t-shirt: 6th grade ~ Sahasra Natti, 7th grade ~ Maddy Cordeiro and 8th grade ~ Tejbir Litt.
