  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Thursday, February 24.
  • Yesterday afternoon, our TEMS cheer team traveled to Ellington Middle School for the first annual CRAL Cheerleading Showcase.  In the showcase, the girls met up with Illing and Ellington Middle Schools where they started the afternoon by working on cheers, showing off tumbling and jumping skills, and finished with their cheerleading routines. Ava Misiaszek, Aubrey Pugrab, Monet Dufresne, Maddie Osorio, Allie Stengel amazed the crowd with their tumbling skills, while Tiffany Castellon, Vanessa Liegl, Bella Hannan, Allie Stengel, and Kyla Levy impressed all the spectators with their jumps. TE's competition routine left the crowd speechless as they were the last to perform their choreographed routine.  Overall an amazing afternoon, and a wonderful way to end the seasons.  Great job ladies.
  • Attention all baseball, softball and track athletes; spring sports registration is now open.  The deadline to register is  Friday, March 18th.  Please go to the "Athletics Registration" page on the TE website for further instructions.  You must complete all 3 parts of the registration process in order to be eligible for tryouts.
  • The teen center will be offering three upcoming programs. Beginning in March, we are continuing our Strides for Positive Vibes program. On the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month, join us at the park from 3:30-4:30pm for an outdoor walk! Enjoy nature, spend time with friends, and ditch the technology. We’d love to see you there! On Tuesday, March 15th at 11:30am we are hosting a game of Chair Volleyball with the Seniors from the Senior Center. Join us for a fun, friendly game of volleyball! The only rule is that you have to stay in your chair! Join us for our 8-week Skills for Success program at the Teen Center beginning on Thursday, March 3rd from 4-5pm. Learn about healthy relationships, communication and leadership skills, self-awareness, and self-esteem. We have a lot of fun activities and games planned and can’t wait to learn new skills.
