- SAGA will meet today after school in room 145. Please wait until all busses have been dismissed before going to Miss Carver's room.
- It was a great night for the Lady Cougars as they avenged an early season loss to the east Hartford Falcons. Leading the way was Avery Brochu with 12 points on the night. The Cougars banged on the boards and handled the ball carefully for most of the night. The Falcons were not able to get in the game after the first quarter ended 6 to 6. Slick ball handling from Erin Martin, Mia Ruiz, Sam Roux and Avery Brochu kept the Falcons from using their speed on the defensive side of the ball. Morgan Bridgeforth, and Izzy Dzubin added a bucket on the second held while Shea Brochu, made two key free throws in the third quarter to put the game out of reach. It was a big win for the LADY Cougars 28-18. The girls’ record on the season is 6 and 2. Up next for the Lady Cougars is Tolland at home on February 1st. Great job ladies!
