  • The TEMS softball team hosted Sage Park on Thursday. Meg Doherty took to the mound and battled through the first inning.  She fought each batter, pitch after pitch, but Sage Park was able to open up a big lead. In the 3rd, Hailey Olints was able to get on base and score off Doherty's double, which was the first run of the game for TE. Olivia Doran was also able to get on base in each of her at-bats. Unfortunately, TE was unable to bring her home. In the end, Sage Park took the win.  TE's overall record goes to 3 -3 on the season. They are home next Monday against Illing Middle School.

  • The TE baseball team travelled to Windsor on Thursday and squared off against Sage Park.  Solid pitching, spectacular defense and a balanced hitting attack were the keys to a 7 to 0 Cougar victory. The win improves their record to 5 wins and 1 loss on the season.  On the mound, Sammy Balducci picked up his first win of the season.  Balducci, Chris Strout and Jacob Gombotz combined to limit the Chargers to only 4 hits in the shoutout.  On the season, TE has only given up 12 runs in their first six games. Leading the charge offensively was Ethan Burke.  He had a single, triple and 2 RBI.  Drew Dargati and Strout added a double each in the win.  All in all, 9 Cougars had a least one hit in the game. TE travels to Illing on Monday in a showdown of the top two teams in the league.
