  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Thursday, December 8.
  • Attention all band students; all of Mr. Marci's lessons are canceled for today.  Please bring your Chromebooks and earbuds with you to band class today.
  • Attention all students who enjoy the outdoors. The TE Outdoor Education Club is taking a hike next Saturday  December 17th from 8am to 2pm. Students will meet at TE and then take a bus over to Case Mountain in Manchester. Students will hike to the summit with Senor Gandia-Torres and Mr. Bartolotta. Price is $10 each student. Bring your own packed lunch. Grab a permission slip from Sr. G or Mr. B in rooms 361 or room 121. Spots are limited to 30 students so sign up today.
  • Entertainers cast and crew: Thanks for a wonderful readthrough yesterday! We are so excited to get started on the show! Please be sure to return your participation contract to Mrs. Leveille in room 343 or Ms. Carver in room 145 by TOMORROW to secure your spot! Check the Google Classroom by the end of the day tomorrow to see the rehearsal and meeting schedule for next week.
  • All Science Olympiad participants will meet in Mrs. Longdin's room today after school; Room 335. 
  • Attention all fall athletes...team photos are in.  Please see your coach to pick them up.  Girls soccer and Girls Cross Country...please stop down to the gym to pick up your photos.  
  • This Friday, December 9th is PJ Day for the Kids, a fundraiser created to support children at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) who wear their PJs for long periods of time while receiving treatment. If you would like to participate in this event please feel free to wear PJs or a flannel to school and donate $1 or more towards this statewide initiative. Donations can be made online using this link, or cash will be collected by homeroom teachers all this week. Please no blankets or stuffed animals on Friday. 
  • The Teen Center Toy Drive event is next week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4-6pm at the Community Center. Our volunteers will be handing out hot chocolate to thank you for your generous donations. If you are not able to make it during those hours, we have now added a donation box in the main lobby for you to drop off your gift. Thank you for your generosity!
