  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Monday, October 17th.
  • Girls cross country trotted to another victory Friday night against Illing of Manchester with a final score of 25 to 36. A job well done to Jane Carty, Eshaa Sreeji, and Mia DeLany who all busted out of their comfort zones making incredible progress in team rankings.  In two nail biting finishes, Illing and TE were neck and neck but TE's Emma Boothroyd and Emmi Tushe had extra grit and beat out Illing as the crowds went wild.  Coming back from an injury and on fire was 7th grader Juliana Mayer who ran a smart race and also turned on the turbo to finish in front of an Illing athlete right on her tail.  The Cougars look forward to their next meet at Ellington Middle School this Thursday.  Good luck, runners!
  • The boy's cross-country team traveled to Manchester on Friday. The boy's team won the day, beating Illing Middle School 25 - 32. Leading the way were Jeffrey Zeng, Erik Edstrom, Robert Valen, and Karthik Srikumar. Finishing strong, and sealing the win for TE were Gavin Lippi, Akilan Anand, Graeme Taylor, Derek Bifolck, and Brendan Soucy. Several other athletes had a great meet, including Peyton Goudreault, Neelesh Sathish and Nevin Joseph. Congrats to all the athletes on a great meet, and a great win!
