  • The TE Baseball team had their first home game of the season yesterday against East Hartford Middle School. It was a cloudy day at Orchard Hill park and East Hartford brought their A game. East Hartford struck early scoring one run in the top of the first inning. TE answered back with a two out rally by Aiden Jackson crushing a two RBI double scoring Liam Davis and Jaiden "J-Mo" Morales. In the second inning the Cougars came out swinging adding another run to the scoreboard by Daltin Harrison, scoring on an RBI single hit by Lucas Carlson. In the third TE kept fighting hard scoring another run by Brayden Edwards on an RBI by Liam Davis after Brayden stole second and third base. Ryder Haynes scored Ryan Hubbard on an RBI single in the fourth with Daltin Harrison scoring Evan Westfall with an RBI single in the sixth inning. Aiden Jackson kept the falcons quiet after the first inning striking out 5 batters taking the win for the Cougars. Lucas Carlson came in to close out the game pitching the sixth and seventh innings taking the save with a strike out and only giving up one run. The Cougars took the win with a score of 6-2. Next game is home against Ellington next Tuesday. Come out to cheer on the team!

  • TEMS will be raising money until May 6 along with Eli Terry and PRS to help fight Pantothenate kinase-associated neurodegeneration, also known as PKAN. PKAN is a brain disorder that you are born with. It affects our ability to do everyday activities. PKAN gets worse as you grow up. Most people end up in a wheelchair and can’t talk. Most people with PKAN pass away before the age of 10.. Please bring a small donation like $1 or $2 to your homeroom teacher. We also ask that everyone wear red on this Thursday May 6th to show their support!
