• Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Monday December 13th. 
  

• Don't forget, every Wednesday this December we are collecting money for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Please consider donating this Wednesday as we celebrate Music day. So come dressed in your favorite band t-shirt, your musical costume, or anything related to music. We look forward to seeing your creativity and to collecting money to help children in need. Thank you.
  

• The Outdoor Education Club will be taking two trips to the South Windsor Arena on Wednesday, January 19th and Wednesday, January 26th to go ice skating.  See Mr. Wilkinson in room 112 or Ms. Nelson in room 255 for a form if you’re interested.  Forms are due Thursday, December 23rd.  
  

• Senator Murphy invites your students to participate in his annual Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Contest. We ask students from elementary, middle, and high schools from across Connecticut to participate in honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by submitting essays that reflect on Dr. King’s dream, their own aspirations, and the importance of what Dr. King means to them.  Submissions are now open and must be received by January 12th. Essays can be submitted online or mailed to our Hartford office. For more information, see the flyer.

• Attention all students, the Teen Center is hosting a Holiday Bonanza Event on Tuesday, December 21^st from 3-5:30pm. There will be a gingerbread house competition, cookie decorating, crafts, games, food, and a movie! We hope everyone can join us for this amazing Holiday Celebration.
  

• Attention Entertainers, cast auditions will be on the following dates! Grade 8 will be on Monday 12/13, Grade 7 will be on Wednesday 12/15 and Grade 6 auditions will be on Thursday 12/16. For audition details and information, join our google classroom using the code: dkjohqw

• Attention athletes- Do you have old or small cleats that don't fit you anymore? All week, there will be a drop off bin next to the security booth at our school to collect new and gently used  cleats to redistribute to our community. Thanks for your help!
