  • Having some troubles with your friend or friends? Sometimes, it’s hard to work things out with your friends by yourself. Peer Mediation can help! Fill out a Peer Mediation Request form in your hallway, the guidance office, or our online form, go to the TE homepage, click on Parents and Students, and then click on Peer Mediation Request form. After filling out the Request form, you will have a special meeting time scheduled during your lunch in our Peer Mediation Room 376 to work things out with your friends. The specially trained Peer Mediators will help you (point to the camera) get your friendship back on track! 
  • Attention all 8th graders:  A great opportunity is available to you!  The counseling department has been hosting  “business lunches” giving you a chance to talk to different people about their careers. It is now time to sign up for the May  Business Lunch!  Are you interested in becoming a Doctor?  Want to work in the medical field or at a hospital?   If so, this is your opportunity to hear from Dr. Jill Bernstein, a pediatrics specialist at the CT Children’s Medical Center.  Come find out what schooling you need to have to be a doctor and what it’s really like to work in the medical field. We are honored to have Dr. Bernstein during the 8th grade lunch on Wednesday, May 2nd. Be one of the first 15 students to sign up in the counseling office. This is a great opportunity you should not miss!  If you’re interested in becoming a Doctor, sign up today!  
  • Congrats to the our lady cougar track team for their second win of the season.  Yesterday afternoon, the girls battled through the cold temperatures and strong winds and defeated Illing Middle School 70-35.  Some highlights of the afternoon include: Kayden Burke, Sarah Gordon, and Audrey Manning sweeping the 55 meter hurdles.  Tracy Doan, Grace Reed, and Cora Brownbill took home all the points in the long jump, while Katelyn Roux, Marybeth Grasso, and Iniya Raja took home all the points in the 400 meter run.  Amanda Walsh scored 3rd place out of 22 in the 100 meter dash, and Audrey Mannig took first place in the mile run with a time of 6 minutes of 44 seconds.  Our 4x800 team of Emma Lord, Rhianna O'Meara, Cora Brownbill, and Ellie Edstrom  and our 4x100 team of Amanda Walsh, Arden Sandsom, Jessica Pollock, and Grace Reed took 1st place too.  Way to go ladies!  
  • Good morning,  the LMC is happy to announce that the 2019 Intermediate and Teen Nutmeg Nominees are now on display and available in the library media center. Come check out these amazing titles as soon as you can!  Looking forward to seeing you, Mrs. Longo!
  • Please check the lost and found for missing items. There are quite a few nice looking items that will be donated to charity at the end of the school year if left unclaimed. So please take a moment to look in the main lobby for missing items.

  • Yesterday afternoon the boys track team competed against Illing of Manchester in their 2nd Track meet of the season.  Running in cold and windy conditions, the boys lost with a final score of 32 to 73.  Scoring points for the team were:  Andrew Bell placing 1st in both hurdles and high jump and 3rd in long jump, Daniel Wang coming in 2nd in the hurdles, Sam Meleshenko with a 2nd place finish followed closely by Noah Faraci finishing 3rd in the 400, Alex Magarian finishing 3rd in the 800, Wyatt Cote with the win in shot put, and Emeka Okoh finishing 2nd in both discus and long jump and 3rd in high jump.  Other outstanding performances were turned in by:  Jaideep Naik, Griffin Pejril, and Matt Venzie in the 200, and Kyle Sullivan in high jump.  Good job to all the boys!  Next week they will compete in a tri-meet against Sage Park and Ellington.  

  • Today for lunch... In the Create line you can have General Tsos Chicken. In the Grill line you can have Chicken Nuggets and in the On the Go line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a great day, do your best, and remember to always strive for 5!
