  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Monday, June 6th. Don't forget, this Wednesday’s spirit day is Rainbow day. So come dressed in all your brightest colors and celebrate all the colors of the rainbow. This is our second to last chance this year to show some school spirit and have a great day together.
  • On Friday, June 17th from 6-9pm the Teen Center will be hosting an end of the year celebration to kick off summer! Join us for some summer fun to celebrate the end of the school year! The event is open for middle school students who register with Danielle by June 15th.   • All TE Library books are due back to the library on or before Tuesday, 6/7.  Also, if you see any library books sitting in your classroom or in the hallway, please return them to the library media center. Current 6th and 7th graders who would like to check out TE library books over the summer will be able to do so on Monday, 6/13 to Wednesday 6/15 during regular school hours.  In order to do so,  please come to the LMC with your permission slip signed by a parent or guardian.  I have copies of this permission slip in the library; you can come and see me for one, or print one off the main TE LMC page.
  • Attention all 8th graders who plan on trying out for a fall sport at South Windsor High School...the fall coaches will be holding a meeting from 2:50pm to 4:00pm on Monday, June 6th.  Please report immediately to the big gym after all buses have been called.  Coaches will explain the tryout process, summer workout programs and expectations of a high school athlete.  If you plan on trying out for one of the following sports, please attend this informational session.  The coaches of the these sports will be coming to TEMS: Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, Football, Girls XC, Boys XC, Girls Swimming/Diving and Girls Volleyball. You will need to take the 4pm late bus home or be picked up by a parent/guardian at this time.  Please see Mr. S in the main gym for more information.

  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Thursday, June 2nd. Hey great job with celebrity look a like day yesterday! Did you know that next weeks spirit day is Rainbow day. So come dressed in all of your brightest colors and celebrate all the colors of the rainbow.
  • If you happen to see a member of the softball team today, give them a high five and a congratulations because they are the CRAL champions!  Congratulations to the TEMS softball team!  TE defeated JFK middle yesterday for a sweet redemption beating them 13 to 9. Alexis Nisyrios hit a home run her first at bat and then was intentionally walked for the rest of her at bats.  Meghan Doherty added 2 singles. Olivia Doran added a double, Brianna LeGare, Lilly Morse and Max Shuska each added a single and first baseman Cassidy Cole batted 4 for 4.  A huge shout and good luck to all of the 8th graders.  Congratulations ladies, you did awesome this season and deserved this championship.
  • SAGA will meet today afterschool in Ms. Carver’s room.

  • Do you have PE today with Mrs. Giaccone?  If so, please report immediately to Alt 6 for class today.  Bring your Chromebook.

  •  Interested in playing soccer at South Windsor High School next year? The boys team will meet next Monday, June 6, at 2:45pm in Coach Lepak's room, room 265. There, you can meet some of the team and get all of your questions answered. We hope to see you there. 
  • Do you like the outdoors?  Do you like hiking? Next Friday, June 3rd, the Outdoor Club will be hiking Case Mountain in Manchester. Transportation will be provided to Case Mountain --- but you'll need to be able to get picked up at Case Mountain by 4:30 pm. If you'd like to take a hike after school next Friday, stop by Mr. Stinchon's room, room 262,  to get a permission slip. No prior hiking experience is needed.
