  • The Lady Cougars hit the hard wood with serious grit and determination last night as it's been nearly two years since the ball has bounced after school at TEMS.  Illing, TE's opponent of the night, was missing several players due to health and safety protocols, however, they scored the opening bucket and that sparked the Lady Cougars to take over the game.  Captains Avery Brochu and Erin Martin lead the charge and many players contributed in the scoring column.  All players contributed in some fashion, whether it was on the boards, making a steal or making a great assist.  In the end, Illing became tired and the Lady Cougars continued to sub in fresh bodies throughout the game. A deserved win for the Lady Cougars in the end.  Up next for the ladies is an away game at Tolland next Tuesday.
