- It's two in a row for the Lady Cougars as they battled the Falcons from Tolland last night in a CRAL matchup. The Lady Cougars pressed their way to Victory 40-33. Maria Galley led all scorers with 13 points. Lexie wheeler had 9, while Ava Magarian and Anna Matus added 7 and six respectively. Not only did Jada Reyes-Tran and Haydin Courtois get on the board on offense, Jada with 2 layups and Haydin a free throw, they were defensive stallworths as well grabbing rebounds and keeping their hands in the passing lanes. Nour Abunasra, Carly Pitruzzello, Anna Kim, Morgan Reed and Olivia Petgrave hussled throughout and caused havoc as well. Ella Suppucich and Bridget Doherty moved the ball well on offense. The Lady Cougars now have 6 days off before their next game when they travel to Ellington to take on the Wildcats. The last game of the season is next Friday against Illing. Hope you can come out and cheer on the girls.
