  • Women’s History Month Spotlight: Amelia Earhart was a female pilot born on July 24 1837. She was born in Atchison, Kansas, in the home of her maternal grandfather. She was the first female to fly alone across the Atlantic ocean. She was not just a pilot but also wrote a few books about her flying experience. She was a brave woman with a passion for flying, and that took her to outstanding heights in history. Thank you to Taylor Zanelli for putting together the information for these spotlights on women’s history!
