  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Monday, March 25.
  • Out of the Blue will meet after school today in room 222.  Please bring your Chromebook.  Today we would like to feature the photography of Ishanvi Mohapatra, our fabulous editor-in-chief this year!  Remember, there is still time to get in your fantastic work.  You have until Monday April 15th to get in your submissions!
  • You can still earn ROAR tickets all week long by demonstrating Respect, Ownership, Acceptance, and Resilience. To enter to win prizes, put your first and last name and team on the ticket and place tickets in the box next to the safety desk. Our final drawing will be held this Thursday!
  • We are back with Women’s History Month celebrations. Today we will highlight the amazing accomplishments of Deborah Sampson. Here is a quick video that details her contributions to our nation through the Revolutionary War. All month we will feature highlights of Women who made an impact in society.
  • Attention baseball players...tryouts for grades 6th and 7th only will take place tomorrow, March 26th and Wednesday, March 27th from 2:45 to 4:30. 8th Graders Only will tryout next week on Monday, April 1st and Wednesday, April 3rd from 2:45 to 4:30. Please see the TE website for more information.
  • Track and Field tryouts will be held next week.  Boys and girls will try out together.  8th grade will be on April 1st, 7th grade on April 3rd and 6th grade on April 4th.  Please make sure you are registered and your physical is up to date.
  • Softball tryouts are going to be held next week on April 1st, 3rd, and 4th until 4pm.  You can get more information in the main gym or see Mrs. Giaccone.

  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Friday, March 25.
  • Thank you to all the students and staff who voted in any of the 4 rounds of the 2023 March Madness Book Bracket! 270 students and staff voted in round 4; the winner with 270 votes was:  What Lives in the Woods by Lindsay Currie and the runner up was Daughter of the Deep by Rick Riordan. Please come down to the LMC to check out any of these great titles! Thank you again and have a great day! Mrs. Longo

  •  Attention all students trying out for track.  Track tryout dates have changed.   Please listen carefully for your date.  6th Grade: Boys & Girls will try out on Monday, April 4th.  7th Grade: Boys and Girls will try out on Tuesday, April 5th.  8th Grade BOY’S: tryout date is Wednesday, April 6th.  8th-grade GIRL’s: tryout date is Thursday, April 7th. Tryouts are from 2:45-4:30. Get changed and report to the big gym on the day of your tryouts. Attire appropriate for indoor AND outdoor tryouts.  Depends on the weather and outside conditions. Must bring a water bottle. Please see Mrs. Edwards or Mr. Millard if you have any questions.
  • Softball tryouts are being held on March 29th, 30th and 31st until 4pm.  There are no late buses on March 29th so please make sure you have a ride home at 4pm.  More information can be found in the main gym or ask Mrs. Giaccone.
  • Attention baseball players...tryouts for 6th and 7th graders will start on Monday, 3/28.  8th graders will tryout starting on Wednesday, 3/30.  Please check the TE website for more detailed information.  
  • Join us at the Teen Center on Tuesday, April 5th to de-stress and play with Therapy Dogs from 4-5pm. During April Break, the Teen Center is having a Chair Volleyball Rematch against the Senior Center from 11-12:30pm on April 12th. We need all hands on deck to claim the winning title.. we can't let them win a second time! Be a pretzel, eat a pretzel!   • This week is a Purple week. It is a Day 1 for for Grade 6 and a Day 4 Grades 7 & 8.
  • Attention ALL 8th Grade Students: Put on your Class of 2021 Sweatshirt and take a selfie for the TEMS 2021 Yearbook.  Make history alone, or with each other, and send it to Ms. Gravell at [email protected], ASAP!

  • Attention all spring athletes...spring sports registration is now open with the deadline being April 2nd.  You must register online.  Spring sports include boys and girls track, softball and baseball.  Please visit the athletics registration page for more information.

  • A big thank you to the 389 students and staff who voted in round 3 of the 2021 March Madness Book Brackets! Please continue to cast your vote in the fourth and final round by clicking on the March Madness Book Bracket link off of the LMC page and then on the Round 4 voting link.  Voting for round four will end Friday, March 26th at noon. You don’t have to have read the books; just vote for the title whose summary sounds the most interesting.  If you are interested in any of the titles, come to the library to check out the print copy or go to Destiny Discover to check out the eBook or e-audio.  Check out the Padlet on all 16, 2021 March Madness Book Bracket titles, which can be found on both the March Madness Book Bracket page and the Reading Suggestions page. Don’t get left out on the sidelines; make sure you have your say in this year’s March Madness book winner! Please see or email Mrs. Longo if you have any questions.

Congratulations to our winners! Next week's Spirit Wednesday is Grade Level Team Spirit. So pull out your Team Spirit wear and wear it proud!
