  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Thursday, March 23.
  • Tryout dates for softball are April 3rd, 4th, and 5th until 4pm.  There are no late buses on April 4th, so you must have a ride home at 4pm.  Please pick up the flier in the main gym for more information on tryouts.
  • Attention baseball players...tryouts will begin starting next week...6th and 7th Graders only will tryout on Monday, March 27th and Wednesday, March 29th from 2:45 to 4:30. 8th graders will tryout on Thursday, March 30th and Friday, March 31st from 2:45 to 4:30. You must have a ride home at the end of tryouts as no late busses are available.  Also, you will not be able to tryout if you have not registered on the parent portal or have not turned in an updated physician statement to the main office.  Please visit the TEMS spring sports website for more details or see Mr. S in the main gym.  
  • Attention all band students, Mr. Marci's instrumental lessons are canceled for today.  Please stay in your regular encore classroom.
  • Attention anyone interested in the TEMS track and field team.  Track and field tryouts are right around the corner, starting the week of April 3rd.  More specific tryout details will come out next week.  If you have any questions, please come see Mr. Millard and Mrs. Edwards.
  • The Spring Fling dance is only weeks away!  The dance is a whole school dance open to the first 380 people to register.  Tickets go on sale on March 27th.  You must sign-up with the google form before purchasing your tickets. 
  • ALL Science Olympiad participants, this week's practice schedule is as follows: Today - after school until 4:00pm (or the late busses arrive) and Friday - after school until we are done!

  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Wednesday, March 23 and its College Shirt Day.
  •  Attention all students trying out for track.  Track tryout dates have changed.   Please listen carefully for your date.  6th Grade: Boys & Girls will try out on Monday, April 4th.  7th Grade: Boys and Girls will try out on Tuesday, April 5th.  8th Grade BOY’S: tryout date is Wednesday, April 6th.  8th-grade GIRL’s: tryout date is Thursday, April 7th. Tryouts are from 2:45-4:30. Get changed and report to the big gym on the day of your tryouts. Attire appropriate for indoor AND outdoor tryouts.  Depends on the weather and outside conditions. Must bring a water bottle. Please see Mrs. Edwards or Mr. Millard if you have any questions.
  • Softball tryouts are being held on March 29th, 30th and 31st until 4pm.  There are no late buses on March 29th so please make sure you have a ride home at 4pm.  More information can be found in the main gym or ask Mrs. Giaccone.
  • Attention baseball players...tryouts for 6th and 7th graders will start on Monday, 3/28.  8th graders will tryout starting on Wednesday, 3/30.  Please check the TE website for more detailed information.  
  • Join us at the Teen Center on Tuesday, April 5th to de-stress and play with Therapy Dogs from 4-5pm. During April Break, the Teen Center is having a Chair Volleyball Rematch against the Senior Center from 11-12:30pm on April 12th. We need all hands on deck to claim the winning title.. we can't let them win a second time! Be a pretzel, eat a pretzel!   • This week is a Purple week. It is a Day 3 for for Grade 6 and a Day 2 for Grades 7 & 8.
  • Spring sports are back!  If you're itching to get outside, get back in shape, or compete against others...it's on!  Come on out for Boys Track and Field!  Get ready to run, jump, and throw your way to victory!  Tryouts for BOYS ONLY will be held on Tuesday, April 6th and Thursday, April 8th from 2:40-4:30.  Late buses will be available on Thursday only. Please make plans to come BOTH days.  All physicals must be up to date and permission forms completed by Friday, April 2nd.  You can fill out forms online through the parent portal.  If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Millard via email or stop by Room 332.  See you at tryouts!!!
  • Attention girls!  Are you looking to participate in TEMS athletics?  Then girl's track and field may be the team for you!   Track and field is a fun sport where people individually compete for team points in sprinting, long-distance running, hurdles, throwing, and jumping. Tryouts for GIRLS ONLY will be held on Monday, April 5th, and Wednesday, April 7th from 2:40-4:30.  Late buses will be available if needed. Please make plans to come BOTH days.  All physicals must be up to date and permission forms completed by Friday, April 2nd.  You can fill out forms online through the parent portal.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Edwards via email or stop by Room 258.   • A big thank you to the 389 students and staff who voted in round 3 of the 2021 March Madness Book Brackets! Please continue to cast your vote in the fourth and final round by clicking on the March Madness Book Bracket link off of the LMC page and then on the Round 4 voting link.  Voting for round four will end Friday, March 26th at noon. You don’t have to have read the books; just vote for the title whose summary sounds the most interesting.  If you are interested in any of the titles, come to the library to check out the print copy or go to Destiny Discover to check out the eBook or e-audio.  Check out the Padlet on all 16, 2021 March Madness Book Bracket titles, which can be found on both the March Madness Book Bracket page and the Reading Suggestions page. Don’t get left out on the sidelines; make sure you have your say in this year’s March Madness book winner! Please see or email Mrs. Longo if you have any questions.
  • Spirit day tomorrow is hero day. Dress as your favorite hero. It could be your personal hero, sports hero…. Could be a first responder or a medical professional… So whoever  your hero is, let's show how much spirit we have tomorrow by honoring them together! We cannot wait to see what you will all wear!
