  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Tuesday, March 19.
  • SAGA will be meeting this Thursday after school in room 145. Reach out to Ms. Carver or Mrs. Reed with any questions!
  • Boys Basketball will have their last practice and uniform collection tomorrow after school. Please bring clean uniforms and water to drink. Please let teammates know. Contact coach McClay if you have any questions.
  • Hey TE! Are you ready to transform TE into a FUN ZONE? The TE Change Leaders are throwing an epic Activity Night on March 22nd from 6 - 8pm. Buy your tickets now! Get ready to: Bust a move on the dance floor! Challenge your friends to awesome games! Chill out with friends at the movies! Rock some cool face paint, henna and temporary tattoos! Space is limited, so grab your ticket during your lunch waves! We even have V.I.P sections for those very important peeps!! Click the link in your Google Classroom to reserve your ticket today! Don't forget to bring your friends, a big smile, and a heart ready for some serious fun supporting a great cause!
  • Out of the Blue will meet after school today in room 222.  Please bring your Chromebook and Ms. Olsen looks forward to seeing you there!  And to our whole TE family, we still want you to share your great work.  To give you some inspiration, here is an amazing painting by Divya Nukavarapu from the Scarlet team.  We are so amazed by her spectacular work!  Stay tuned all week to see other amazing submissions by other TE students.
  • Attention baseball players...tryouts for grades 6th and 7th only will take place on Tuesday, March 26th and Wednesday, March 27th from 2:45 to 4:30. 8th Graders Only will tryout on: Monday, April 1st and Wednesday, April 3rd from 2:45 to 4:30. Please see the TE website for more information.
  • Track and Field tryouts will be held the first week of April.  Boys and girls will try out together.  8th grade will be on April 1st, 7th grade on April 3rd and 6th grade on April 4th.  Please make sure you are registered and your physical is up to date.
  • Softball tryouts are going to held on April 1st, 3rd, and 4th until 4pm.  You can get more information in the main gym or see Mrs. Giaccone.
  • We are back with Women’s History Month celebrations. Today we will highlight the amazing accomplishments of Amelia Earhart .  Here is a quick video that details her contributions to our great nation and the field of Aviation. All month we will feature highlights of Women who made an impact in society. Link to Video
  • You can earn purple ROAR tickets all month long by demonstrating Respect, Ownership, Acceptance, and Resilience. To enter to win prizes, put your first and last name and team on the ticket and place tickets in the box next to the safety desk. Drawings will be announced Fridays all month long. Just as a reminder, try to show all the qualities of ROAR. You may even be lucky enough to earn a free ticket to the upcoming Under the Sea activity night hosted by the T.E. Change Leaders.

  • This week is a Cougar week. It is a Day 1 for for Grade 6 and a Day 5 for Grades 7 & 8.
  • A big thank you to the 407 students and staff who voted in round 2 of the 2021 March Madness Book Brackets! Please continue to cast your vote in round 3 by clicking on the March Madness Book Bracket link off of the LMC page and then on the Round 3 voting link.  Voting for round three will end today at noon.
  • Congratulations to Lime Team's Nora and Jane Carty. They both submitted entries to the annual CT Student Writer Awards held by the Connecticut Writing Project at UConn. Jane won a silver award in the nonfiction category for her memoir entitled "Shrimp Juice in the Chocolate Ganache" and Nora won a gold award in the poetry category for her "Where I'm From" poem.

  • Attention all 6th and 7th Graders!  Have your parents talked to you about the form in PowerSchool they need to complete by today? It is time to plan for next year.  Your parents need to complete the form letting us know which music class you want to take next year. 6th graders you must also select which world language, French or Spanish, you want to take. Additionally, the form will let you know which math class you are recommended for. Talk to your parents today about it! It must be done by Friday of this week!!!
