• Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Friday, March 10.

• Who's ready for spring?  It's almost here and let's celebrate with our first school-wide dance.  The Spring Fling Dance will be on Friday, March 31st from 6-8, and is open to the first 380 students from any grade.  The dance will have a DJ, food, photos, and more.  Tickets go on sale Monday, March 27th in the lobby.

• We are excited to announce that track and field tryouts are approaching.  The TEMS Boys and Girls track team has a variety of sports such as sprinting, long distance, throwing, jumping, and more. If you want to try out, please fill out the sports registration form on our TEMS Athletics webpage.  If you have any questions please see Mrs. Edwards or Mr. Millard.
  

• A big thank you to the 353 students and staff who voted in round 1 of 2023 March Madness Book Brackets! Please continue to cast your vote in round 2 by clicking on the March Madness Book Bracket link off of the LMC page and then on the Round 2 voting link.  Voting for round two will end Thursday, March 16^th at noon. You don’t have to have read the books; just vote for the title whose summary sounds the most interesting.  If you are interested in any of the titles, come to the library to check out the print copy or go to Destiny Discover to check out the eBook or e-audio. • Attention All 8th Grade Students: The 2023 TEMS Yearbook Staff would like to create a "Besties Page", but we need YOU to send us your SELFIE with your BESTIE!  Make sure it is an image file, like a pdf or img, and NOT a Google doc or slide. Just email your Bestie Photos to [email protected]  Submissions will be accepted until today.

• Attention all students, the Cougar Current has published its fifth issue. Make sure to check out the many articles, quizzes, and more on our school newspaper. We also have an exclusive interview with Mrs. McAvoy from the Sage team. • And now for a Teen Center Announcement -  Students who are interested in baking or learning more about it can join the Teen Center staff for our baking club on the second Tuesday of each month from 6-7:30pm. • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Thursday, March 10. Hey great job with spirit day yesterday, Let's take a look at some amazing book characters!

• Attention all baseball, softball and track athletes; spring sports registration is now open.  The deadline to register is  Friday, March 18th.  Please go to the "Athletics Registration" page on the TE website for further instructions.  You must complete all 3 parts of the registration process in order to be eligible for tryouts. 
  

•  Attention Baseball Players – The informational baseball meeting will take place on Monday, March 14th for those interested in trying out for the Timothy Edwards Middle School Baseball Team.  The meeting will take place in the small gym immediately after school and end at 3:30PM.  Plan on getting picked up at 3:30PM or take the 4pm late bus home. 
  

• Don't forget to vote for the 2022 March Madness Book Bracket. Voting for round 2 starts today and ends Friday, March 11th at noon; to vote go to the TEMS LMC page and then the March Madness Book Bracket link.  You don’t have to read the books you are voting on; just vote for the one that sounds the most interesting; come down to the library to check one out! Don’t get left out on the sidelines; make sure you have your say in this year’s March Madness book winner!
