  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Thursday, January 25.
  • PTO Book fair winners: The trivia question winner from Tuesday was….. Alisha Abraham in Grade 8, and our Wednesday winner was  Lexi Gustafson in Grade 6. Please go to the main office to inquire about your prizes. Keep checking out our trivia questions for the last two chances to win!
  • Attention Yearbook Staff: There is NO meeting today, BUT we WILL meet next Thursday. Again Yearbook will not meet today.
  • Get ready for some competitive fun, Cougars! Friday February 9th, CougarTHON is hosting a TEMS Volleyball Tournament! Teams of 7 to 10 players are invited to sign up for this amazing night of volleyball, face painting, enter-to-win opportunities, and more! To get a sign up packet, go to Mrs. Klosowski’s classroom, 232, in the Emerald hallway or go on the TEMS website and print your own! Sign up packets and registration fees are due on Friday, February 2nd.
  • The Teen Center is hosting students from the middle school on Tuesdays and Fridays from 3 - 5:30 pm. Transportation from TE is even available on Tuesdays. Also, they are forming a Youth Council and are looking for interested students to attend an informational meeting on Feb 1st at 4pm at the Teen Center.
  • Out of the Blue will meet on Monday, January 29 immediately after school in Ms. Olsen's room.  She looks forward to seeing you there!
  • CougarTHON is back and better than ever this winter, and we’re ready to continue our fundraising for Connecticut Children’s! Friday, January 26th, CougarTHON is hosting a PJ day at TE! We will be accepting $1 donations (or more) during homeroom today and tomorrow.  All donations will go directly to Connecticut Children’s in their fight to end childhood illness. Whether you bring in a donation or not, please wear PJs to show your support for this amazing cause tomorrow.

  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Wednesday, January 25.
  • Attention 7th and 8th grades… Get out your shiny ties and sparkly shoes! The 7th and 8th grade Valentine's Dance is coming up NEXT FRIDAY, February 3! Semi-formal dress is optional. This is not a "dates only" event so get your friends together and get ready to dance! Stay tuned for more information about TE's next opportunity for a night to hang out with friends and earn some prizes! Tickets on sale soon.
  • Last night the lady cougars traveled to East Hartford to take on the Falcons, in yet another CRAL battle. It was a tightly contested game throughout, with the Lady Cougars coming out on top 49 to 43. Leading the way was Morgan Bridgeforth with 12 points and Emery Forko with a career high nine points. Teagan Purcell, Kyla Wood and Keira Dietelbaum each had five points while Maria Puniello chipped in seven and Shea Brochu had six. The Lady Cougars were excellent in the final stages of the game, holding the ball and forcing the Lady Falcons to foul. Puniello and Brochu sank a couple key free throws to seal the game. Congrats on the win girls!
  • Attention all members of Out of the Blue.  We will meet on Monday January 30 in room 222 in the Scarlet hallway.  Please be sure to bring a charged Chromebook and something to write with.  Ms. Olsen looks forward to seeing you there!

  • This week is a Purple week.  It is a Day 2 for Grade 6 and a Day 5 for Grades 7 & 8. 
  • The Teen Center is open! They are open from 2:00-4:00 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays, following the same cohort as the schools. Space is limited, please call to reserve a spot. Come enjoy snacks, interactive games and fun crafts!
  • TEMS Winter Matinee will be offering after school activities beginning on February 1st! The sessions will run for eight weeks.  Sessions are FREE! Students are responsible for providing materials for the selected activity. All activities will be online and require both Wi-Fi and a device. Please review the Winter Matinee Catalog to view the available sessions and details of the program.  You must also sign up  for your activity online.  Links and details are available on the school website, and all our social media accounts. As the number or participants for each activity is limited, sign-ups are on a first come, first served basis. If selected, students will be contacted with more information once the activity sessions have been formed.
  • Attention Entertainers:  Today's choreography rehearsal is for the entire cast.  Ms. Lyons looks forward to seeing you on the Google Meet at 3:00.  Ms. Sitarz will be meeting with all leads today during the rehearsal to test out recording the dialogue between songs.  Students playing the characters of Tom, George, Dori, Shulie, Joe, Dina and Janet should plan to stay on the Meet after Ms. Lyon has dismissed the rest of the cast.
