• Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Friday, December 9.

• Attention all students who enjoy the outdoors. The TE Outdoor Education Club is taking a hike next Saturday  December 17th from 8am to 2pm. Students will meet at TE and then take a bus over to Case Mountain in Manchester. Students will hike to the summit with Senor Gandia-Torres and Mr. Bartolotta. The price is $10 each student and you will need to bring your own packed lunch. Grab a permission slip from Sr. G or Mr. B in rooms 361 or room 121. Spots are limited to 30 students so sign up today.

• Entertainers cast and crew: Make sure you're returned your participation contract to Mrs. Leveille in room 343 or Ms. Carver in room 145 by TODAY to secure your spot! Check the Google Classroom at the end of the day today to see the rehearsal and meeting schedule for next week.

• Attention all fall athletes...team photos are in.  Please see your coach to pick them up.  Girls soccer and Girls Cross Country...please stop down to the gym to pick up your photos.  
  

• Today is PJ Day for the kids. Thank you to everyone who participated and donated to help support the children receiving care at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Your donations will help to support programs that comfort children in some of their toughest moments. Thank you.
  

• The Teen Center Toy Drive event is next week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4-6pm at the Community Center. Our volunteers will be handing out hot chocolate to thank you for your generous donations. If you are not able to make it during those hours, we have now added a donation box in the main lobby for you to drop off your gift. Thank you for your generosity!

• Hey did you know that we are collecting money for Connecticut Children's Medical Center? We will be collecting donations each Wednesday this month. Bring in $1 or more donation and you will be entered into a raffle drawing for prizes. Drawing for this week's entrants will be held tomorrow. Next Wednesday for Spirit day is music day. So come dressed in your favorite music related outfits… and lets help the children under care at Connecticut Children's.
  

• The South Windsor Soccer Club is collecting new and gently used soccer cleats of all sizes to redistribute to young players in our town .This Saturday, December 11, from 2:30pm-4:30pm, Coach Lepak will be at Nevers Field to collect cleats. Come on over and say hi! Also, starting Monday, December 13, collection bins will be placed by the front entrance of Timothy Edwards for collection during the school day.
  

• Attention all students, the Teen Center is hosting a Holiday Bonanza Event on Tuesday, December 21^st from 3-5:30pm. There will be a gingerbread house competition, cookie decorating, crafts, games, food, and a movie! We hope everyone can join us for this amazing Holiday Celebration.
  

• Attention Entertainers, cast auditions will be on the following dates! Grade 8: Monday 12/13, Grade 7: Wednesday 12/15  and Grade 6: Thursday 12/16. For audition details and information, join our google classroom using the code: dkjohqw

• ATTENTION GRADE 6 STUDENTS: The EXCEL in ART Program is now accepting applications for Winter 2022 Session. Classes will be held on Saturday mornings in January and February 2022. The link to the application form can be found on the TEMS homepage. HURRY! Applications are due by Monday December 13th and space is limited!

• This week is a Purple Week. It is a Day 1 for Grade 6 and a Day 5 for Grades 7 & 8.

• Attention Entertainers: Today's rehearsal is for the characters of GEORGE and TOM ONLY. Tomorrow's rehearsal is for the ENTIRE CAST.  Mr.Goric and Mr. Klein will be joining us to give tips on setting up your lights, video and room at home for videotaping.
