  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Friday, December 2.
  • Attention students who auditioned for TETV News. Letters are in the main office with the results of the audition. Please stop by and get your letter today. New positions begin next Monday December 5th.
  • Thank you to everyone who auditioned for Entertainers this week. We are excited for a great show! Please check the Google Classroom for the "call back" list. If your name is on the list, we'd like to see you again on Monday for another audition session. Please take a look at the new songs and scene we'd like you to prepare. If your name is NOT on the list, you still have a part in the show! We'll post the cast list next week and everyone should plan to attend the read through of the script after school on Wednesday 12/7. See you then!
  • Friday, December 9 is PJ Day for the Kids, a fundraiser created to support children at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) who wear their PJs for long periods of time while receiving treatment. If you would like to participate in this event please feel free to wear PJs or a flannel to school and donate $1 or more towards this statewide initiative. Donations can be made online using this link, or cash will be collected by homeroom teachers all next week.
  • Saga is canceled for today. Please go home on your regular bus. Again Saga is canceled today.
  • The Neon Dance is tonight. Money for tickets is due to homeroom teachers by TODAY. No Tickets will be available at the door. Students attending must also complete the Dance Google Form. Don't forget, prizes will be awarded for both the best individual and group Neon Outfits. Can’t wait to see you all there!
  • The Teen Center Youth Council volunteer group is hosting a Holiday Toy Drive to support those in need this holiday season. Please consider donating an unwrapped toy to support a neighbor in need, Monday, December 12 through Thursday, December 15 between 4-6pm at the Community Center. Our volunteers will be handing out hot chocolate to thank you for your generous donations.
  • The Teen Center will also be hosting a painting workshop during winter break. On Tuesday, December 27  from 10-12pm you can join us to paint a winter northern lights theme. Register on Eventbrite with the link below or scan the QR Code on the flyer to save a space! https://www.eventbrite.com/e/465242261127 As a reminder, the Teen Center is open for middle school students on Tuesdays from 3-5:30pm and Friday night’s 6-9pm. We now provide transportation from TE to the Teen Center drop-in hours on Tuesday’s after school.   • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Thursday December 2nd and its National Mutt Day. 
  • TEMS is teaming up with Connecticut Children's Medical Center to help raise money for the children who are battling cancer at CCMC. Next Wednesday, December 8th we will be having Pajama day as our winning spirit dress up day, however, we will be collecting donations every Wednesday this month. Each week you donate you will receive a raffle ticket to enter to win prizes. Drawings will be held each Friday of the month to select three winners. So bring in $1 or more and help support Connecticut Children's Medical Center.
  • Attention all SAGA members, SAGA will be meeting today afterschool until late busses. Any questions please see or email Ms. Carver.
  • Attention all students looking to be involved with the school musical! TEMS Entertainers will be holding an interest meeting on Monday, December 6th after school in the auditorium. All prospective cast and crew members are invited to join.   •  Authors Assemble!!! TEMS is calling for students who are interested in participating in a writing competition hosted by UCONN: The Connecticut Writing Project. TE is offering an opportunity for students to work on their writing for this competition in a structured setting with some guidance from teachers.  We are offering six sessions on Mondays and Thursdays after school.  We know that there are many students here that love to express themselves in writing of all kinds, including short stories, essays, poetry, and other forms.  If interested, please head to the TE Homepage and find the "Connecticut Writing Project Club" link or see Mr. Millard in Room 331 or Mr. Stinchon in Room 262.  Deadline to enter is Friday, December 3rd.  Click Here to register.

  • This week is a Cougar Week. Today is a day 4 for Grade 6 and a day 5 for grades 7 & 8. 
  • Today's Entertainers rehearsal is only for students with the roles of Tom, George, Dori, Shulie, Joe, Dina, Janet, and Elvis. Tomorrow's rehearsal is for the entire cast. Meet Ms. Fisher on the Entertainers Google Meet at 3:00.
