  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Thursday, November 30.
  • Attention Timothy Edward Homerooms! This year we will be holding a Winter Wonderland Door Decorating Competition. Each homeroom should collaborate to create a door display that shows off their homeroom's creativity, showcases the traditions, weather, and special events of the winter season, and features the incredible diversity of our TE community. All work should be student-led! Ask your teacher for the materials and you may bring things from home if you’d like. Doors must be completed by the end of the day on Friday, December 15th and will be judged on December 17th. A winning homeroom from each grade will get popcorn and a movie! Please reach out to Mr. Zmarzly or Mrs. Garrido on Navy for more information.
  • Attention Mrs. Gravel's Q1 6th Grade Students: Please pick up your clay projects as soon as possible.
  • Attention students interested in Robotics: The Cougar Robotics club will hold our informational meeting next Wednesday, Dec 6th afterschool in room 112. All students interested in participating should plan to attend and fill out the Google Form using the link on the daily news page. Any questions please see or email Mr. Wilkinson in room 112 or Mr. Goric in room 114. 
  • To celebrate Computer Science Education Week, the state department of education is offering a Women in STEM-C event this Saturday, Dec 2nd. Students will engage with STEM and Computer Science activities that focus on teaching team work, lateral thinking, and organization. If interested have a parent or guardian sign you up at the link on the news page. Sign up Link
  • Boys Basketball tryouts will be held Dec 4th through the 6th afterschool.. All tryouts will be in the main gym.  Plan to attend all tryouts.  Wear suitable clothing and basketball shoes (or sneakers). All participants must be registered through Power School and have a physician's statement on file prior to the tryout dates.  Students who to not have a physician statement will not be eligible to tryout. Any questions please contact Mr. McClay.
  • Cheerleading tryouts will be held on Dec 4th, 6th, and 8th from 2:45 till 4pm. Tryouts will take place in the small gym. Plan to attend all tryout dates unless previously discussed with Coach Edwards. Wear PE clothes and sneakers and also bring a water bottle. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Edwards in room 302.

  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Wednesday, November 30.
  • Attention to all 7th graders auditioning for Entertainers, auditions are TODAY after school! Report to the auditorium after all students are dismissed. Have a ride home at 405 or take a late bus at that time. Auditions for 6th graders are TOMORROW. See you then!
  • A reminder from the cafeteria, the school district will be transitioning from Free to Paid Meals starting tomorrow, December 1st.
  • Attention students interested in joining the TETV news staff, Auditions for second quarter anchors will be held today afterschool until 4pm. Interested participants will read through a daily news script to try out. See you after school today in room 375.
  • Attention 7th Graders…. The Neon Dance is this Friday, December 2nd. This is a chance for all of 7th grade to come together and have some fun. So get out your brightest outfit and join us! Tickets are $10 and available through your homeroom teacher. Students attending must also complete the Dance Google Form. Prizes will be awarded for both the best individual and group Neon Outfits. Can’t wait to see you all there!
  • The Teen Center Youth Council volunteer group is hosting a Holiday Toy Drive to support those in need this holiday season. Please consider donating an unwrapped toy to support a neighbor in need, Monday, December 12th through Thursday, December 15th between 4-6pm at the Community Center. Our volunteers will be handing out hot chocolate to thank you for your generous donations. The Teen Center will also be hosting a painting workshop during winter break. On Tuesday, December 27th from 10-12pm you can join us to paint a winter northern lights theme.   • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Tuesday, November 30th.
  • TEMS is teaming up with Connecticut Children's Medical Center to help raise money for the children who are battling cancer at CCMC. Next Wednesday, December 8th we will be having PJ day as our winning spirit dress up day, however, we will be collecting donations every Wednesday this month, starting tomorrow. Each week you donate you will receive a raffle ticket to enter to win prizes. Drawings will be held each Friday of the month to select three winners. We will start collecting donations with our spirit day tomorrow…. And what is the spirit day theme for tomorrow you ask? It's Zoo Day!!!! So bring in $1 or more and dress up as your favorite animal, or zookeeper, or anything related to the zoo. Cannot wait to see everyone tomorrow with their outfits and donations.
  • Attention all students looking to be involved with the school musical! TEMS Entertainers will be holding an interest meeting on Monday, December 6th after school in the auditorium. All prospective cast and crew members are invited to join. To stay up to date on all entertainers information, and audition scheduling please join the 2021-2022 Entertainers Google Classroom using the following class code: dkjohqw Please see Mr. Bronson or Ms. Carver with any questions, and see you December 6th! 
  • Authors Assemble!!! TEMS is calling for students who are interested in participating in a writing competition hosted by UCONN: The Connecticut Writing Project. TE is offering an opportunity for students to work on their writing for this competition in a structured setting with some guidance from teachers.  We are offering six sessions.  We know that there are many students here that love to express themselves in writing of all kinds, including short stories, essays, poetry, and other forms.  If interested, please head to the TE Homepage and find the "Connecticut Writing Project Club" link.  Deadline to enter is Friday, December 3rd.  If interested, Click Here to fill out the interest form.
