  • Good Morning!!! I am Nolan, I am Isha, and I am Hailey.  Peer Mediation is proudly sponsoring the annual  PJ Day for the Kids to be held this Friday, December 13th.  We hope you’ll join in to support kids with Cancer while also raising funds, awareness, and hope! PJ Day for the Kids kicks off its 9th annual event with a mission to not only raise money, but to honor the brave kids fighting cancer and serious illnesses at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Join us as students and businesses across Connecticut wear their PJs for the kids. Wondering how this event started? A 2nd grader named Nick Wesoloskie decided he wanted to do something for kids when his baby sister, Charlotte, battled cancer. Thankfully, she is now cancer-free. He wanted to honor the survivors, those lost, and those still in the fight of their lives - in their PJs - for days, weeks or longer. Since 2011, thousands of children in Connecticut have worn their pajamas to school in support of pediatric patients at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. To date, more than $375,000 has been raised for the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Every year, PJ Day for the Kids inspires more and more school children and business leaders to become involved. We are stronger together and, with your help, our collective statewide support will continue to make a tremendous impact on the care Connecticut Children’s can provide to thousands of children and families. From new, safer, life-saving treatments and individual, targeted, genetic therapies to financial and emotional support for the entire family, your donations to PJ Day for the Kids are making a difference for the children we serve. So, on Friday, Dec. 13th, donate $1 or more to wear your PJs in support of Connecticut Children's Medical Center Foundation. Thank you for your support in raising funds, awareness and hope for these brave kids!

  • Good morning TE let's take a look at your forecast. Today temperatures will be only getting into the mid thirties during the day with mostly sunny skies, hopefully that will help the temperatures rise a little bit. As we head into this week temperatures will drop a couple degrees from today and tomorrow, they will only be in the low thirties each day, luckily I am seeing a warm up within the next week. During the evening and tonight temperatures will be in the upper teens which will create a pretty heavy frost for the morning, but as we continue the week our low temperatures will drop even more into the low teens. Luckily, we will be seeing sunny skies for the whole week until the weekend where we are watching a storm develop.  If the storm does get more serious, which I am not worried about, I will let you all know. Jordan Cosman TETV Morning News, guys, back to you.

  • A new charity has come to Timothy Edwards! Three sixth graders, Peter Nielsen, Gavin Foran, and Mark Romano are beginning a fundraiser for the Snow Leopard Trust, and they need your help.  The Snow Leopard Trust is a non-profit organization that helps to save endangered snow leopards in the wild.  Because they keep none of the profit, the Snow Leopard Trust depends largely on donations from supporters. Peter, Gavin, and Mark will be manning their stand at the intersection between Lime and Sage teams until 8:00 in the morning, and between 1:25 - 1:45 (sixth grade) in the afternoon. The fundraiser will run Tuesday through Friday of this week, while supplies last.  Any donation is accepted, but remember that every donation of two dollars or more will earn a specially designed Snow Leopard Trust wristband! Thank you for your support in helping us save the snow leopards!
