  • Good Morning, we are 6th grade peer mediators and we'd like to remind you that today is World Kindness Day. On this day, and every day, we are encouraging you to spread kindness. You can do simple things like compliment someone, help a peer or teacher, invite someone who is sitting alone at lunch to join you, or simply smile and say hi to someone. It's the little things that count. You can always be the light in someone else's day by simply being kind! We hope you'll spread some kindness today and we hope you enjoyed your treat:-)
  • Attention boys interested in trying out for the TEMS basketball team.  Tryouts are on Monday, November 26th and Tuesday, November 27th.  Tryouts will begin promptly at 2:45 PM and end at 4:00 PM.  Plan on taking the late bus home or getting picked up at 4:00 PM.

  • Last night in the 27th Annual Cougar Bowl, the best 8th grade intramural team took on the teachers in a lopsided affair.  The teachers scored first and never looked back.  A methodical, Tom Brady Like opening drive led by Mr. Edwards, was all the teachers needed to get in front and stay in front.  The student team, driven by Ethan LaGuardia and Sam Maleshenko were quick to respond and answered the teachers first score.  However, the teacher team, spear-headed by Mr. Chandler, Mr. Carnes, Mr. St. Jean, and Mr. Murphy and one-time self appointed MVP, Mrs. Hall overwhelmed the students throughout the game.  Mr. Clifton, former Division 3, All-American at quarterback, not only caught a touchdown, but threw one as well.  Mrs. Custer was a defensive stallworth as was Mr. Wilkinson and Mr. Elliott, who also burned the 8th grade defense for a long touchdown.   The final score of 56-32 was justified as the student team were no match for the undefeated teacher team.  Congrats to the players for making it to the Cougar Bowl. Ethan LaGuardia, Sam Maleshenko, Damian Ayala, Wyatt Cote, Connor Rankin, Hakim Montgomery, Braden Dill, and Mike Foran should all be so proud.  However, the teacher team is still undefeated and are awaiting an opponent for next year.  7th graders, are you ready to step up?
