  • With just over a week until the school wide Walk-A-Thon, we are just about half way to reaching our goal and we need your help getting to the finish line!  Our individual student goal is $50 or more.  It's easy to share your fundraising web-page over email and Facebook.  Share with grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors and friends.  Only five, $10 pledges will reach your goal!  Cash and checks are also accepted and may be brought into the school office with your name and team on the envelope.  Let's go Cougars and help us reach our goal!!

  • And now, it's Walk-A-Thon raffle time!  All students that have raised at least $30 in donations so far have been automatically entered in the raffle. Today's lucky winners may pick up their prizes in the office.  Good luck and thank you for registering with the Walk-A-Thon! Congratulations to all our winners! 
  • Registration for the 4th Annual STEAM Olympics is now open. All students are invited to participate by signing up in advance. Compete in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math events on Saturday November 2nd! Join the STEAM OLYMPICS Google Classroom using code: 8vvq9mz  Registration forms are available by visiting the Google Classroom or see your Science Teacher or see Mr. Smith-Horn in room 358 or in Stairwell "I" before homeroom. AND remember.... America runs on Stairwell "I"
  • The annual TEMS Athletic Dept Halloween Dance is scheduled for this Friday, OCT 18th.  Tickets will be sold starting this morning in the main lobby.  Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door.  Prizes will be awarded for the three top costumes on the evening.  As a reminder, you cannot wear masks or bring any accessories such as weaponry to the dance. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday night.  

  • Attention all 6th graders- Intramural Basketball starts THIS WEEK  There are still a few spots left- if you are interested, make sure to get your forms in to Mrs. Hall or any PE teacher.  Don't miss out on this fun opportunity to play basketball! Our first session is tomorrow, WEDNESDAY, October 16 right after school until 4:00.  Late buses are available. Any questions, see Mrs. Hall.  
  • Today for lunch in the Create line you can have Bosco Sticks, in the Grill line you can have Eggplant Panini and in the So Deli line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a good day and do your best to strive for five!

  • Good Morning TE! On Thursday October 18th, the field hockey team will be having its annual foundation game and bake sale.  This years foundation is Make A Wish. Make A Wish is an organization that creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. The game and bake sale will take place at the TEMS field hockey field. Proceeds of the bake sale will be donated to the Make A Wish foundation.  In addition, the field hockey team will be selling beads in the main lobby before school begins. Beads cost one dollar to purchase.  Also, on Thursday October 18th will be hat day. You can bring in one dollar to wear your favorite hat to school. Hope to see you there!
  • The 8th Annual Kenny Offiaeli 3 on 3 basketball tournament will be held on November 9th from 5:30-8:00.  This tournament is open to all TEMS students.  Registration forms and checks must be handed in to the main office by Monday October 22nd.  Students may pick up a form in the main gy
  • Attention students...are you ready for the first school dance of the year?  The Athletic Department is sponsoring a Halloween costume dance on Friday, October 19th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.  Come hang out with your friends and enjoy some great music and dancing!!!  We promise that Mr. Chandler will NOT show off his floss dance moves while wearing his clown costume!!!  Tickets cost $7 and will be available in the main lobby.  Tickets cost $10 at the door.  No masks or props are allowed!!
  • Bravo!  Applause!  Encore!  Ever dream of being onstage or working backstage in a theatrical production? Now is your chance!  All students interested in being involved in the Entertainers production of Disney's NEWSIES are invited to attend an an informational meeting after school on the last Monday of the month, October 29th  in the auditorium.   If you like to sing, dance and act or would like to be part of a backstage crew, please join us - no experience required!  If you are interested but can’t make the meeting, please see Ms. Petrin in room 131 for more information.
  • Basketball Club will hold its first session on Wednesday after school in the Main Gym until 4.  The final roster is posted in the gym and the 6th grade hallway.  Please bring PE clothes to change into!  See you then!!
  • Wondering about MathCounts? Well wonder no more. MathCounts will have its first get together Friday the 26th of October. That is the last Friday of the month.  See your math teacher for an information sheet and stay tuned for more MathCounts news.
  • It’s Walk-A-Thon week! We’ve raised $14,747 so far and together we can reach our $20,000 goal. Tomorrow is our last raffle.  All students that have raised their goal of $50 will be entered to win one of three $50 gift cards to Cinemark Movie Theater.  Tonight is the deadline to be entered into the raffle so get those pledges in!  If you’re still not registered, visit thegetmovincrew.com before it’s too late! Don't forget, today is crazy sock day and tomorrow is Hawaiian day. So break out those tropical outfits and we will see you tomorrow for the raffle.
