  • This is a Purple week. It is a Day 1 for all grades. Today will be a remote learning day for students.  Please follow your regular schedule. 
  • Black History Month- Spotlight on Misty Copeland
  • The Teen Center will be hosting a Virtual Paint Night for students on Tuesday, March 16th from 6:30-7:30pm. Lindsey’s Craft Studio will be leading participants through the creation of a dot mandala painting. This event costs $5 but will go towards a painting kit filled with the supplies needed to create your masterpiece.   • Spirit Day Tomorrow - Flannel Day - Gift card for the best on each team!
  • Be the Change Club is raising money towards the PJ Program. The PJ Program is a non-profit organization that collects new PJs and books to donate to foster kids. Our goal is to collect $250 by the end of February. Online donations are accepted. Click Here to support this amazing program. Thank you for your support!
  • If you are a grade 8 student interested in applying to Cheney Tech and want to meet with a representative, please email your guidance counselor (Mrs. Lakomy or Mrs. Levrault) by today.  A representative from Cheney Tech will be virtually meeting with interested students on tomorrow.   • This week is a Purple week. It is a Day 4 for Grade 6 and a Day 5 for Grades 7 & 8. 
  • Black History Month- Spotlight on Jesse Owens.
  • The Teen Center and Youth & Family Services are offering a “Strides for Positive Vibes” walking group. It will take place beginning on March 3rd, and will be the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 3-4pm. We will meet at a different trail each session, and de-stress from the technology while connecting with nature and getting some fresh air! If you are interested, please call Danielle at the Teen Center or register through Eventbrite.
  • Attention Entertainers: It's hard to believe, but today is the last rehearsal for the entire cast.  Ms. Lyons will see you on the Meet at 3:00 and you'll be learning choreography for Interjections today. Students playing the characters of Tom, George, Joe, Dori, Dina, Shulie AND JANET also have a Meet with Ms. Sitarz to work on dialogue. Ms. Fisher will also be available for any student needing help or feedback on any song.  Look forward to seeing you then!

  • This week is a Cougar week. It is a Day 3 for Grade 6 and a Day 4 for Grades 7 & 8.

Please don't miss this opportunity to include your preferences and opinions in this YEARBOOK!  You can access the survey from our TE Webpage or check out our Twitter feed to find the link. You must be signed into your SW Google Account to take the survey.

  • School spirit days are going to take place every Wednesday for the rest of the school year. Show your school spirit and have some fun together participating in weekly themes. Today is our first spirit day and our theme is Hat Day. Prizes will be awarded to those with the most spirit. One winner per team each week. Each winner will receive a $5.00 Amazon gift card that has been donated by our generous PTO. We look forward to seeing your spirit!

  • Attention Entertainers: Today's choreography rehearsal will be to learn Interplanet Janet.  Ms. Lyons looks forward to seeing you on the Meet at 3:00.  Students playing the characters of Tom, George, Joe, Dori, Dina and Shulie should be ready to go at 3:00 with costumes, lighting and backdrop to record scenes with Ms. Sitarz.  See you then!
  • We would like to introduce Spirit Wednesdays.  Every Wednesday TE will have a spirit day!  This Wednesday we will kick it off with Hat Day!.  Prizes will be awarded to those with the most spirit.  CLICK HERE to view the complete calendar of Spirit Wednesdays.
